Yeah, and it's a "tall" display; it has to be displayed standing up or shoppers would need to crane their necks to the side in order to see it properly. It's about as tall as some playset boxes are typically wide, but the fact that it MUST be displayed standing up means they can't even put it on the low shelf below the knees, where the wrestling rings, Batcaves, etc. usually go, and it's too cumbersome to go on the high top shelf either.

It eats up a ton of space.

I haven't had a reason to go shopping in a few days so I don't know if they moved any yet.

I would have bet that the $15 price for the membership and figures was a typo, but I guess not. So far the only catch seems to be the estimated delivery of 'early January'. Hopefully they'll start sending them out much sooner than that.

i wonder if those figures are just leftover SDCC figures

i placed an order for the Elite membership with those figures and it said early Jan 2019 in an confirmation email

If they do end up arriving in January, I’ll be fine because i’m gonna pick up the retail turtles because they have extra accessories.

Does anybody know if Playmates has said anything about when to expect the next wave? I really want more of the Foot Clan.

It doesn't need to be displayed that way. As with the playsets in the 2012 and Out of the Sewers line, Playmates has two different versions of the front of the box. One face is orientated vertically. The other face is orientated horizontally. So there is no "back" of the box.

Standard operating procedure for Playmates for this line going back at least to the 2003 line has been to have a fresh wave of toys ready to hit shelves in January as stores reset shelves post Christmas. I'd guess that we will see new stuff then.

Also, Did anyone else find that they had a fairly large number of points in their account as soon as they registered?

i had that when i first registered it said i had 300. after i upgraded to the Elite membership it went to 0

well i thought it said 0 but every time i try to redeem a reward it says i have 300 again but "points balance" page it says i have 0. hmmm

Mine shows 300 points as well if I go in to redeem them and buy one of the 3 reward packages. In reality I only have 16 points entered in.

Seems as though they didn’t get the bugs worked out at all.

Has anyone gotten a conformation email from their membership upgrade and did it come right away or take awhile? I only received a blank email with no info at about the same time I places my order. Email doesn't say Playmates or anything.

I can see a pending charge for the $15 so I would assume it went though, but have no real good way of knowing for sure considering the website is the same for regular or elite memberships.

I got an email too confirming my membership, but mine wasn't blank. That's what informed me about the early Jan 2019 shipping dates. IDK what's up with yours, maybe you should reach out, seems their system might be glitchy still

It actually says my order was placed 10/14... which is tomorrow. Maybe it will all figure itself out tomorrow when I placed my order.

If I still don't get something by Monday I will have to email them and see what's up.
