[Fanart] Alopex, a collection of doodles!

Welll.... the title doesn't lie, I figure that whilst I don't draw as much as I used to, I'd like to at least share some of the TMNT fanart I've done previously, as well as some other TMNT art from con sketches and other artists that may as yet have been unseen by folks!

I didn't wanna spam the board with like ten different posts, so, what I'll do is make two different posts in this topic, one which is to hang up my own work, the other being art I haven't drawn myself, but was in some part had a hand in =B


That said, if my icon isn't a clue enough, I'm a big Alopex fan, so, as soon as I read my first IDW comic, I started doodling art of her or working with others to try and make more fanart too =D


So, starting WAYYYYYYY back in that Raphael Micro when she had the huge claws:

I kept going along the same path with her, wondering about her origins and such before her Micro and Northampton really fleshed her out, so, this next one was a more pensive piece, we still never did get an origin story on that necklace of hers...:

And then, finally, the last piece I doodled of her, was one perhaps during the Northampton arc, wondering whether or not she would have shared any time with Splinter training at all:

Soooo, yeah, not much, but, wanted to at least share some love of my fave fox in the turtles pages as is =B Maybe I'll manage more in future, but it'll lucky if we see it, lol

Okie dokie! As promised, I wanted to share some more Alopex art! I've managed to snag a few coin sketches indirectly or otherwise of my fave turtles character and although I haven't lucked out to capture anyone who's worked on the Turtles series directly, I've nabbed a few folk who work at IDW from the talent roster and got to see how their work would look like in the pages

Starting with Ed Pirrie, aka Kingoji, he's long time been a fellow fan of Transformers, but turned out he was a Turtles fan too! So, way back in the days Alopex made her first appearance(hence huge claws!), I asked how he imagined she might look in the 2k3 Nick Turtles cartoon style - prior to the show creating their own version of Alopex! - in addition to his own rendition of what a Nick 2k3 Ninjara may have looked like! Suffice to say, I was pretty stoked on this one!

Ed has now stepped from fan artist into covers/interiors on the current IDW Transformers run and super proud to be able to see him step up, so hopefully we'll see more of him in future in IDW!

In addition, we have another official IDW artist, Nick Roche! He's done a lot of Transformers, as well as creator owned stuff like Monster Motors and even done some Marvel work too, I may be biased as he drew one of my fave Transformers books, but I knew he was a Turtles fan too and couldn't resist asking him to doodle Alopex too.

These are all art pieces that got put together by some other smaller artists, and are still pretty treasured by me, I couldn't make this topic without sharing them too, some are art trades, others I supplied input on, others are commishes, all of which based around the character who brought me back into Turtles!

I REALLY couldn't not also share the pic that is my avatar: I got inspired by the really silly furry meme 'Krystal can't enjoy her sandwich' where the blue furred fox of Starfox was never able to finish her food item

Theeeeeeeen the Northampton arc happened, and had the Foot and Koya burst in RIGHT as Alopex and the turtles were tucking into a meal, the meme came up in my head, and the subsequent result Yawg drew and Malunis helped me color and turn into a fully transparent Alopex you can put in any situation!

(Sadly, Yawg does a good amount of NSFW and I dun think the board would appreciate me linking to any possibly inappropriate material, so siding on the safe side here not to link, but happy to point anyone who does wish his way!)


There are a good few other artists I've worked with to make more art appreciation for Alopex, buuuut, again, not wanting to flood the board at once and also wanna be careful at posting back to any of my friends who have some amount of NSFW in their galleries, lol, but hopefully I'll make more art to make up in future and can share it =D
