I’d check it tbh. Hope Harley’s still in it too.

Wait, all of those has already been animated into series/toon movie. But sure, make it a live action with a twist. |

Hell, mix all three elements into one big Joker rampage.

Buried under the dumb edginess and poor script, there was a good Joker in Leto. Maybe his portrayal will improve; maybe a director will rein him in.

I agree, & I'm not even a big fan of his, I just feel there's lots of potential.

The only other thing I've seen him in that I can think of is Dallas Buyers Club. Oh, and the Blade Runner reboot/sequel thing.

I mean, yeah, Jared Leto is supposedly a decent actor, and I agree that if the producers/studio executives behind Suicide Squad hadn't been pursuing a Spencer's Gifts aesthetic/attitude then maybe he could've done something interesting with the role, but we could talk hypotheticals all day long and in my opinion the Joker we got is just not worth seeing again.
But hey, I'd love to be surprised.

Man of Steel? They can't make a Batman movie! And he is the main cashcow of the DC and, arguably, THE MOST popular superhero ever.

Jared Leto version? I'll just RedBox it. Maybe. Or have someone RedBox for me.

My condolences go out to anyone who has to share a set with Leto, because that chuckle**** actually buys into the whole Method Acting crapfest.

A straight 1-1 adaptation, not really interested. Cherrypicking some of the elements, I'm all for.

We haven't even seen him play the Joker yet. As much hubbub was made about him in SS, all he was was basically Harley's backstory and foil. He wasn't bad, but it was barely a realized part.

Warner Bros. is actually going through with this idea of a Joker origin film without Jared Leto.

I really hope that someday, maybe 10 years later after all of this mess, after comic book movies will go out of fashion, someone will make a comprehensive documentary, a book or a movie, just to describe what the **** was going on in the DC offices at the time.
Because, no matter how I look at it, this might make one hell of a better story than their movies. |
