Excuse my nerd moment but I love those behind the scene pictures of the first movie! I just love that content. You just don't see it posted anywhere unless someone worked on the movie or managed to own it. I wouldn't be lying if I said I am jealous that you have Leo's katana's .

To NinjaRap, Welmanshire, and 3Tripnip,
You guys are very welcome. I'm glad the weapons went to people who will really treasure them. It's been a pleasure dealing with all of you. Now, if only I can find happy homes for the rest of the collection... Mahalo Nui Loa, Seagoat (aka Karen)

Gotta love those storyboards. They're hilariously bad. The art for pretty much every character is extremely doofy. I have a page that I got from Steven Ho that features Tokka & Rahzar, thankfully they look pretty cool!-
It's interesting to see how certain scenes could have panned out if not for being inappropriate/costly/etc.

Awesome piece! I didn't know that Steven Ho was selling these.
The remaining two fight storyboard sets are named "Junkyard Fight" and "The Final Battle (Construction Site, Dockside Club, The Dock)." There’s also a fifth set called "The Destroyed Street." In total, I was told that Michael Davis drew 496 pages of TMNT II storyboards. I'd love to get my hands on them all someday, as I really get a kick out of the artwork and seeing all the unused stuff. There's some more information about the artist and his storyboarding process here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/terrible2z/444204192/ |

He's not selling them, he held a contest via Facebook a few years ago. I drew a picture of him with Donnie and won my choice of a page. Thanks for the link!

Wow, those props and storyboards are awesome!
I wonder how many copies of the TMNT III scepter were built and how many have been recovered. I don't think I ever heard of anyone owning one of those... |

This thread is quite stunning.
Amazing to see all those bits and pieces (especially the first film stuff) after all these years. Slightly sad though that pieces have been broken up and sold as components. I work with plastics, rubbers etc in my job and it is a sad fact that the material used for the costumes will degrade over time no matter what. So sad...they are like real people, their time on this earth is limited! Thanks all for sharing though! Some of the earlier links are broken though, which is a shame. Especially would have liked to have seen Shredders helmet, but as said, link was broken. =( Final thought - seems strange that there appears to be no Casey Jones stuff. Maybe Elias Koteas has it?...

After reading this thread
Well like I previously mentioned I have nothing movie related and its a dream to own something... After reading this thread and doing some research this past weekend I scrambled what I had and bought a ticket to LA to visit Meltdown comic to see the Mikey suit from the Next Generation.
This is my first time seeing anything in person that has been in film. I was excited to see Kevin Eastman this march in Orlando, after I bought my tickets he canceled. I got a great deal on tickets from Florida to California for $215 round trip and stayed in my car rental to save money. here is some pics, I think some one asked what happened to the other suits apparently from what I was told they are still owned by the chodio brothers and they are boxed up. on display they had two other mask (Leo/Don) and Eastman did a very nice mural on the side of their building. http://s258.photobucket.com/user/chu...slideshow/tmnt Last edited by Chuquison; 02-04-2014 at 05:20 PM. |

In the immortal words of Donatello, "Bossa nova!" That came out looking absolutely incredible, Ben! What a gorgeous display. The purple border was a nice touch and makes a great complement to the black background. Really happy for you.
Through years of research, I have been able to track down TMNT props as small and minute as a fake fire hydrant from the backlot where they shot, but I have never personally seen any Casey items come up for sale or heard of anything in a private collection. |
