Best TMNT Colouring Books?

For my birthday recently I bought NECA's TMNT line based off the FW series. As a child I liked my TMNT action figures but it always frustrated me that they weren't accurate to the series, the same with the merchandise. So it was great getting the NECA toys as they're about the most accurate to the cartoon series designs I've seen so far.

The problem of getting merchandise accurate to the FW series is because the merchandise is Playmates interpretation of the 80s series, it's not accurate. Now I've already gone on about this in another thread but one problem rears its heads and that's colouring books. There are A LOT of TMNT colouring books to buy on Amazon and I don't expect any to feature artwork that look like the FW designs but I'm wondering what you guys think are the best TMNT colouring books for a fan to buy? I've noticed a lot of the colouring books for sale are independent artists which is why while sometimes you get gems like Mirage Volume 1 from independent artists you also get rubbish that looks like it's been stolen low quality Internet images or photocopied on cheap paper.

So what do you guys think are the best TMNT colouring books, i.e. good value for money that don't look cheap? Doesn't have to be FW related although that would be a bonus.

The only one I have (aside from one of the 2012 versions from Dollar Tree) and really like is the "Kickin' it Old School" coloring book. I really love the mix and variety of pages of images, patterns, and comic art (and quotes) pulled from 1987, 2012, and Mirage. Would have loved to get some 2003 in there too, but it's pretty cool that at least Mirage is included.

Man, I should get some TMNT coloring books. That'd be some fun, relaxing $hit.

Yeah I got that one. It's okay. I think if you're a 2012 or Mirage fan you'll get the most enjoyment from it.

For some reason I'm starting to see TMNT merch at goodwill. They had a combo colouring-book/sticker-set, unused but a ratty handled case. I passed, but maybe I'll go back and nab it.

Honestly, all of the TMNT coloring books have been pretty good. The only problem with the 2012 books is that they have published tons of different books with mostly the same art shuffled on the inside.

The Next Mutation books were especially great.

You wouldn't be saying that if you saw the stuff I see for sale on Amazon. I get it's unlicensed but that doesn't mean they can't put some effort into it. I remember I bought a 2003 series one and it was essentially badly scanned images from the cartoon. Don't mind scans but the quality looked photocopied. Yikes!

I don't want the trouble of having it on my personal Dropbox. I'm currently in the process of scanning some TMNT colouring books and I wish to make a donation.

Dropbox and Google Drive are the simplest free options and don't look trashy with ads and popups. They are both easy to join. I still use Mediafire too for single files like Pdf and zip files.

Sure, my question was allowing someone else tied to this community to host the file (when I eventually finish it) in case I lose it. I want it to be as accessible as the colouring books you sent me.

How to freak everyone here out in 3 easy steps:

Step 1) Get yourself a first printing copy of the Mirage TMNT issue 1 black and white comic.

Step 2) Color it in like a coloring book with crayola crayons. That old newsprint it's on is pretty similar to coloring book paper!

Step 3) Sit back and enjoy the show as everyone freaks out over the fact that this was even considered.

That's reminds me. I bought one of the books used and one of the pages was already coloured in. Sorry, tried my best to get clean copies for scanning.

Haha, man, this takes me back. I can't remember which ones I had as a kid but I remember having at least two. I remember one of them having like, "profile" pages with a bunch of nonsense for each Turtle like their favorite store or their catchphrase - always things that you never, ever heard them say on the show or elsewhere, of course. Like Donnie's "quote", I think, was "I'm not gonna pay more for this muffler!", a joke on a then-popular auto parts store which ran on TV constantly back in the day. I'm like "What the sh*t is this?" Pretty sure I had the coloring books before I actually got any of the toys. TMNT had been the hot new thing for a little while already before I bothered paying any attention to it.

I had fun with 'em, though. I remember back in the day a lot of them had reused pages but different covers. Come to think of it, that's probably always been a standard thing.

I think I had more fun with my A-Team coloring books, though. Those guys were always such dicks to poor Murdock.
