Sad. That's a long history of fighting cancer if the first round of it was back in '95. What a shame his wife herself is already gone because of it too. Too sad for their kids. (And maybe a little scary if there are genetic factors.)

didn't he have mental health issues as well? i seem to recall he wasn't really acting when he was upset with 'alf'.

RIP Willie. Your relationship with Alf made the show for me when I was a kid. You two had great chemistry.

Alf's cast HATED working on the show. Apparently Max Wright was found at a crack house not too long after the show was over and there's rumours online that he had sex with homeless men in exchange for drugs even. Really sad if that's the case.

Oh my gosh. I was hoping he’d play Willie again in the ALF revival that’s been mentioned before.

ALF merchandise was everywhere from the fall of 1987 into 1988. Unfortunately, the show became more geared towards the whole family and not only adults and teens in ‘87.
