Why have we never gotten a Mirage Shredder figure with "chrome" armor?

This is how he seems to be portrayed in the comics. Playmates clearly loves this process, having used it for quite a few figures and vehicles since the mid-nineties. They finally did their own version of Mirage turtles, but no Shredder to go with them.
