Krang and the Anti-Monitor? I expected Krang to get mashed up with Mr Freeze or the Ventriloquist.

I mean, I guess if we want to go with following IDW logic, Mr Freeze would make the most sense.
"I'm going to shift the entire climate for the sake of keeping something I love alive!" I don't know enough Batman lore to know how the others would work. But it's probably because it makes for a way cooler-looking suit.

I don't know who I'd merge with Krang. Maybe R'as? I fiddled with that idea for a moment but it didn't go anywhere interesting enough. But I do know that the notion of combining Mr. Freeze and Leatherhead into an albino mutant alligator with an ice gun is too visually awesome to pass up!

Krang messed with the biggest bad of the DC Universe, the Anti-Monitor? "That some heavy stuff, Doc!" The Laughing Man turns to a familiar TMNT ally? The Joker and Casey Jones?

I want to remind everyone that I predicted Splinter would die in #96. Looks like that may very well be the case. Let's see if it pays off.
Oh, and I would also like to remind everyone that, if I happen to be wrong, we shall never speak of my prediction again and my status as a master predicter shall remain untarnished. |

Seriously, though, how come we haven't seen the rest of the legacy (that's what they're called IIRC) covers for City at War? I'm really intrigued about those. |

I predicted Mutagen Man would die.
I've predicted that twice, actually. Fvcker's still alive.

Out of curiosity, why #96 specifically?
I guess that makes him the Tormund of IDW TMNT, he just lives through everything somehow. |

I also predicted April O'Neil would never grace an IDW Collection hardback cover, figuring she doesn't sell TMNT like any mutant or villain character does... Boom, immediately, Volume 5, April O'Neil. If you're reading this, Bobby, I'm still hurting from that burn.

So I guess the Pantheon and Shredder returning won’t happen till after issue 100? With this being issue 96 and then still fighting Karai and likely Bishop/Metalhead there’s no time judging by pacing.

I still think Shredder making his badass return to the land of the living happens in Issue #99 or #100.

Probably, it seems like City at War will run till then anyway. Hopefully the Pantheon/Shredder stuff kicks into full swing around issue 100 since it has like 50+ issues of build-up so far. By then Karai's arc should be resolved, and they'll just have Bishop to contend with.
We'll probably be waiting even longer for Ch'rell to do anything. I also hope Null/Malinga get covered in a mini so it doesn't take up too much time in the main ongoing and delay everything else by months/years. |

Oroku Saki needs to trade places with someone in order to return to the mortal plane and he does so with Splinter?
