So I decided to try to put what I've learned in my studies to good use and see if I could improve my art digitally.
I used Adobe illustrator here and essentially re-drew my previous piece (haha) and I liked the way it turned out. It looks more smooth and less jagged I guess you could say. At least I think so. For the other one I (obviously) added color.

Man, does my art look WEIRD in color!
Don't get me wrong, I think it turned out great considering who did it, but I kinda prefer the whole black and white look. I should practice shading and inking in just b&w.

Oh, and the colors look way too flat. I needed to add something to make it "pop" or at least more visually appealing.

Back to practicing!!!

I haven't had much time to draw recently, but today I had my tablet and some time to kill so I doodled a bit.
I hate drawing without regular paper and a pencil, but there wasn't anything I could do about that.
They turned out decent all things considered.

This first one's Planchette from Haley Newsome's webcomic Unfamiliar.
I really like the way it turned out. It's pretty close to the source material if I do say so myself.

This one's my hero Hachiman Hikigaya from My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong as I Expected. I'm a bit disappointed it doesn't look all that much like him, but it still looks ok.

This one was just practice. I've been struggling again with drawing full characters, but I think I got this one to look right.

A lot I need to improve on (as always) but I'll keep on trying my best!
