That's good to know. Sonic never done any fart jokes in any of the games or TV shows. It would be completely out of character for Sonic to even do any kind of fart joke.

It's all kinda questionable to me, too, but to be perfectly honest, my expectations for this have always been rather dim. They can only surprise me, at this point. There's no context to anything new that could sway my opinion either way.

And I think PapenKraken liked Sonic Mania? So there's that, I think.

Tbh even a person who hates everything will like Sonic Mania. That game is pretty damn good. It picks the best elements from the classic Sonic games and puts them in one game.

Movie won't be horrible, movie will be mediocre but funny enough for kids and adult "nerds" will make videos about how it sucks for cheap views on their crappy youtube channel and the majority will just quote those "influencers" since they can't think on their own without even watching the movie. I don't think it'll be horrible or good, just somewhere in the middle but get tons of hate just for existing even though it's doing the same concept as Detective Pikachu.
