For the last time the show is already renewed through Season 3. Ratings now don't matter as much.
When Season 3 airs though the ratings better be good because Nick will only continue the show if its still doing well by then. |

I think they might run out of ideas by then. I rather have this show end on a high note then continue to watch and having it wasting away at it self like the Simpsons.

We're not even into season 2, we don't know what sort of ideas they have or don't have... as long as Ciro is involved I don't think they'll have problems keeping the show interesting for many years to come.
If the ratings are low Nick has only themselves to blame for inconsistent scheduling. Allowing it to air overseas first also didn't help. Hardcore fans were aware of this and found their own ways to watch it without needing to wait for it to air. Again I understand why people pay attention to the ratings but it's only one piece of the story when we're talking about how successful the show is for Nick. The ratings could be super low and Nick would still keep producing it as long as merch, licensing and digital sales carried it into profitability |

Just look at what IDW is doing in the comics, Nick could use some of those stories as well. |

They could, but that should be a ways down the line, as there's still quite a bit of older material that they haven't even touched yet.

Most of stuff we seen in IDW are stuff base on old material that either recycled or re-imagine. The only stuff that actually new are the parkour ninjas, Alopex, brainwash leo and the new origin.

True, but I'm saying Nick can use concepts like the Neutrinos fighting the Rock Soldiers and so forth at some point.

That still old material. I talking about stuff hasn't done first in the old cartoon or in the comics. It's fun to reboot old ideas but is a risk to make new ones.

Plus the Monday repeat did a higher rating than the premiere, plus was the highest rated Turtles episode of the week. With the Saturday premiere, Sunday 8:30 rerun, and Monday noon rerun. The episode got over 5 million viewers. Plus by the time Monday rolls around, Nick has the episode on the website. There's so many options to see the episodes by the end of that week of the episode airing, for right now, the premiere ratings are becoming essentially irrelevant. |

At least their repeat ratings are decent. They had 4 repeat episodes rated higher than the one that premiered last week.

How is that even possible? Either way I'm still hoping the Finale will at least get above 3.6 Million because of all the promotion!

Because people missed the episodes when they debuted and watch them in reruns? It's not that hard to figure out that not everyone sees the episodes when they're brand new, especially when you factor little kids into this.

3.1 Million viewers for 'Showdown' on the Thursday night airing. This is the highest rated premiere for a TMNT Episode since last December!
