Did everyone enjoy Free Comic Book Day at Shellback? I wasn't able to go, but I was able to get this exclusive print, numbered 2/25. Glad to see it has 3 signatures. One of these years I'll make it over there!

Just added a new piece of art to my growing archive. Hard to resist a cool v1 page when it's offered to me (hint for anyone wanting to sell their v1 art).

The page is from TMNT, volume 1 #28 (The Sons of the Silent Age). The artist is Rick Veitch. This is Mr. Veitch's only page in the issue, as it was a flashback to his 3-issue TMNT debut a few issues earlier: "The River".

It's drawn on duo-shade and about the same size as most of the early TMNT pages.

A few new Jim Lawson original pages from volume 1, #48. Page 10, 12 and 18. I love these Casey Jones pages, especially when he wears his mask and fights. That doesn't seem to happen much in City at War. There is also an appearance by Nobody at the end of the last page. (click on pic to view large)

Thanks to the three people who hit me up about Eastman selling iron-ons on his site! I picked up two more, and now have 7 in my collection. The 1984 set is almost complete, only missing 2 of the 7 (Donatello and Michelangelo).

It took about 15 years to find this many so who knows if or when I'll find more, but it's been fun trying to collect this set so far.

So nice to see that McCollum piece end back up with a fellow Dromer. I always enjoyed that one. It's ended up with a few people but I think it's finally found its true home. Congrats!

Thanks OA. Yes, it'll be with me for a while. I've seen it from time to time. I remember it being listed on Ebay long ago. When it came up on auction recently, I threw what I thought was a crazy bid in the last moments, but someone bid just under me, so I guess it wasn't too crazy. I barely won it, and I'm glad I did.

I know I'm late, but I just picked up this 11x17 sign-off print from Shellback's last signing, which I hear was limited to 20. Unfortunately Peter wasn't around but Steve did sign it for me! Bittersweet, yes..I'll miss these prints.
