This makes sense I guess. Otherwise it would be stupid to take the TMNT logo off of the box since Playmates can't block them from producing buildings or prop replicas. The baby turtles probably went to retail because technically they were 1:1 scale and had no bandanas, belts, accessories or elbow and knee pads.

No. They can't be to scale with the ooze canister and the 1:4 line.

The baby turtles are considered to be accessories to the 1/4 scale line. Neca clearly stated that themselves. It's how they looked in the film right after they were first mutated and stood about a foot tall. So they are closer in scale with the 1/4 scale turtles and the ooze canisters that those figures originally came with. It's also why the pizza slices and the pizza box they come with are so small.

Because, here's the Turtles un-mutated next to the canister: And Splinter explicitly states that after he gathered the Turtles in the coffee can the next morning they doubled in size, and that's before they became biped. Here's the 1/4th Baby Turtles next to the 1/1 prop replica canister, and they ain't twice as big as the real turtles in the scene. (spoiler for large image) Spoiler:
And we do see one of the mutated Baby Turtles eat a slice of Pizza, and that seems to fit the scale with the 1/4th Baby Turtle figure and the 1/4th scale pizza slice. Here's the entire origin with the pizza scene |

I think they're awesome looking but, as opposed to the diorama, I'd rather them have real trench coats and hats for you to dress them in. Those designs are my favorite Turtles ever and especially Raph.

I loved this scale but had to get rid of all of them unfortunately
They were just taking up too much room

With that bluish paintjob, I'd wager it's the Jetpack version of RoboCop

I did the same thing but kept Trenchcoat Raphael. I will at very least continue buying the 1:4 versions until 7" figures for the new characters become available.

Me too. It's nice to have diversity since 7" Raphael doesn't come with a Trenchcoat. Besides, Raphael is a loner so it's a great display piece on it's own

So NECA has posted all over social media photos of their IT Pennywise figure, that is EXCLUSIVE to Gamestop. This is in addition to the normal release.
It could be fesible, given the existing relationship between the two companies, that these rumblings we have heard of Gamestop exclusive Henson turtles are infact the Boxset versions by NECA. If so Id bet they'll be packaged individually and possibly have either additional or less accessories than the boxset. It could really be good news for everyone.

I’m banking on less accessories. The SDCC box set will be the superior set.
