A Serious Man opened near me last Wednesday. My uncles and I are big Coen brothers fans so we went and saw it. It did not disappoint, great movie.

I saw 300 again this weekend. The first time I saw it I thought it was an ok film, a bit on the ridiculous side but still. This time I couldn't even remember what I actually liked about it in the first place. What a laughably bad piece of sh*t.

I was all over it after I went and saw it in IMAX. Bought the DVD and just fast forwarded to the good parts. After that I felt the same way you do. It must have just been the visuals in IMAX that made it so badass the first time around.

I agree, it was probably the experience watching it on the big screen. Apart from that there is just no redeeming quality to it.

The Netflix party feature on Xbox live leads to nothing but trouble.

Stryker and I spent some time with Stan lee's Lightspeed...and then we ventured into Gangs of the Dead.

Yep.

I'm afraid to rewatch 300 for the same reason. I loved it at first, but since then the style's become really overused, and since I hated Watchmen so much I fear I may have developed a bias against Snyder.

I watched Pale Rider again the other day. It's OK, but one of the lesser Eastwood Westerns I've seen.

Lots of movies lately...

Ice Age 3

TMNT
And tonight we watched Stripes. I absolutely love the drill routine they made up...

You watched a pirate porno?

I finally saw Star Trek. Pretty good and I hate Star Trek.

Children of Men. I forgot how good this movie is. It's really well directed, plus I always like seeing believable depictions of the future (I noticed Clive Owen's character wearing a London 2012 sweater -- That's a great touch).
