Christmas Aliens is put before Fallen Angel? That is bound to cause confusion about continuity...

You'd think that if they were haulting on these "volumes", then they wouldn't be going forward with that release either. Man, I am not a fan of the way that Nickelodeon has treated this franchise.

They just care for the money. I had the "How it All Began" video once and it edited out "A Thing About Rats" and kept a reference to Baxter Stockman.

"The Epic Begins" (http://www.amazon.com/Teenage-Mutant...e+epic+begins)?

Actually I believe they cut out the reference to Baxter. In the episode "Shredder Is Splintered", Donatello says "I saw something at Baxter's workshop". And they edited it so that he says something like "I saw something at the turtle workshop".

I've been watching a lot of Christmas-themed episodes from DVD sets of shows I own. I just watched my "Michelangelo's Christmas Rescue" DVD, and thought I might want to replace it with Nickelodeon's release. The older version has this one unskippable ad.

It has also been released as "How it All began", and I had it with a Baxter Stockman reference.

The 2k3 series is the best series in my opinion. Not sure how anyone else feels, but I think if they'd get their ish together and release volume sets in order they would make lots of money from all diehard fans
I'd def buy

I wonder where the heck did Nick get the idea to release these 3 episode volumes? Nobody does this anymore. It's 2016 for Pete's Sake, not the early 2000's. Most other companies put at least 5 episodes these days on a disc. And if Nick had the audacity to sell these at more than $5(and even that's asking for too much IMO), then it just reinforces my belief that Nickelodeon is run by brainless monkeys these days.

We must hold faith. I am not a praying man, but I would pray for 2k3 DVD boxsets.

If I had the knowledge of how I would just make my own DVDs. I swear they'd be ten times better than whatever Nick craps out. That is the only reasonable option.

Me too! And if they release the dvd´s on a box set shapped like the battle shell, that will be awesome!

Seriously, any other studio could do a better job than Nick's crappy attempts at releasing this series on DVD.

Even Mill Creek and Lionsgate would be better than what we're getting from Nick.

You're right, and Lionsgate's releases for the 80s cartoon were a mess.

The way Nick gave Avatar new box art for its' complete series box set, my hope is that if we ever get new box sets for this, we get new cover art like we were getting for the half-season DVD's for Seasons 1-2.

Has anyone ever said why Nick treats this show as the ugly step sister? It really seems to get no love whatsoever, whether it be crossovers, dvd releases, or even just a general recognition that it existed.

Nickelodeon is in love with the original cartoon, not the 4Kids series.

Well I think it's safe to say Nick will never again make a DVD release for this show.
