Vote for a 2019 TMNT Arcade1Up Cabinet!

Arcade1Up has hinted at a TMNT cabinet next year, but they currently have a poll up on their site looking for 2019 feedback. Everyone should go vote! Go to their website, scroll down a little then it pops up on the right. I have always dreamed of owning a TMNT cabinet and this would be an awesome chance to have one!

NP.....I think it was already going to happen next year but still need some votes! Since they do cabinets by company I would like a 4-player Konami cabinet that is TMNT themed with both games plus X-Men & Simpsons!

That'd be great, but also a licensing nightmare.

Konami no longer has the TMNT license. So I dont think a TMNT Arcade cabinet is possible.

Even if there was. There only been two TMNT Konami arcade games. And these cabinets normally have 3 or 4 games on them. What could they include as a 3rd game. Simpsons? Both games are similar. 4 Players and using the same joystick and buttons configuration.

However given that they have it listed in the voting. Maybe they can work something out.

i was shocked this took so long to get noticed for here ;o).

TMNT, simpsons and xmen would be a good idea for one cabinet.

Why not just have the original arcade game and Turtles in Time? Isn't the Street Fighter one just two games?

If they're not doing both, I'm not interested.

I would like the Cabinet to have TMNT, TMNT 2, Simpsons and X-Men.

X-Men is typically a 6 player game. But they also had a 4 player version.

Honestly, if they can somehow get around the licensing to release a cabinet with 2 TMNT games, The Simpsons and X-Men.... they might as well release a Konami collection for consoles.

According to a A1U rep, they were already in discussion with Konami about TMNT, X-Men and Simpsons prior to completion of phase one. There was some issues with licensing, however. Licensing gets tricky with things such as this because although company A may currently have rights to a brand, they don't necessarily have rights to past developments made by company B. So last I heard, they were trying for a Konami cabinet but had not secured the rights. If it happens, I wouldn't be surprised if the cabinet is more expensive than the others due to the extra licensing and 4-player support.
