I had considered ordering that Zatanna book until I saw this myself. Zatanna is, almost inexplicably, a really fun character. Buuuttttt..... that writer? Nah, pass.

I have been enjoying the new Hal Jordan comic until this latest issue,#10. What hurt it was the inclusion of Kyle and the three 2010's minority lanterns. Also, Hal jumped into action to save someone I assume the readers are supposed to know, but I was clueless to who she is. I would say the issue is the prime example of having too many Earth-based Green Lanterns and it's best to keep the focus on Hal. It was a rare misstep for Jeremey Adams back to basics and fun story with classic characters true to who they are.

The next phase for DC is set to be "DC All-In" and will include Scott Snyder's new all-star creative line "Absolute Comics", said here to be an attempt to do "New 52 and Rebirth right", it's DC's version of the Ultimate universe and won't affect mainline stuff.

The Long Halloween is fantastic and I enjoyed seeing Dick Grayson/Robin in Dark Victory, but The Long Halloween seemed to be concluded with the 2022 special one-shot. I am all for it, but Dark Detective's follow-up to the Engehart/Rodgers storyline was canceled due to Marshall's untimely passing. It would seem the same would be done here. Maybe I should ask Steve Englehart at Heroes Con next month. Either way, I am curious how this story will play out in it's 10 issue run.

Issue 2 came out in March. Issue 3 has been bumped to July and I won't be surprised if it gets put to August.

Why is this getting delayed so much?

Taking things too far, but on the other hand, Tom King needs to be as far away from DC comics as possible.

And some of these replies, 'if you don't like the writer, don't read their stuff'. So if you're a fan of Batman, you have to quit reading 20-30 issues just because a hack got their hands on it?

Imagine being told to just stop reading TMNT after issue 100 and wait several years until this reboot.
