Joss Whedon doesn't deserve to have anymore opportunities that have been (or will be) available to him; he's just going to take advantage of them.

Why would they promote him? I just don't understand it.

Because, talented people deserve opportunities as well as chance for redemption, if they had committed some offences?

Or do you think that people in jail should never see the freedom again?

I always just assumed those people are stuck in their ways and have made up their mind, but that's unfair of me. It seems that nothing could redeem those people to the certain crowds, short of death. Preferably cruel one. Very compassionate and emphatic.
