Krang and Shredder: Various songs about quarreling married couples.
Because of continuity and timeline errors, I've given up writing fanfiction based on the 1987-1996 animated television series. Instead, I'm trying to reboot the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles story, something many other fanfiction writers already do:

Hopefully, stories will later appear at

I'll have a go at what the 2012 versions of the characters would sing.

Leonardo - "Burning Heart" by Survivor.

The lyrics of this song accurately describe what he goes through having to bear so much responsibility with leadership.

Karai - "Little trouble girl" by Sonic Youth.

Having grown up without a mother and longing to have one for all her life, being raised by an uncaring father figure. A little trouble girl, is something what Karai without a doubt is.

Shredder - "Hate" by Kiss.

"Hate, is what I am, 'cause underneath this heart There beats the heart of man ." For a being so consumed with revenge and vendetta, this song would be perfect for Shredder.

April - "Head over feet" by Alanis Morisette

Mostly as a message to Donnie to stop making a fool of himself, he already won her over.

Donatello - "It's not easy being green" by Kermit the Frog.

If there's one characters from the 2012 series who is constantly confused with himself and what he is, it's Donnie. This song fits him like a T. A second choice would be "She blinded me with science" by Thomas Dolby.

Raphael - "If I was your girlfriend" by Prince.

The funniest thing about the 2012 version of Raph was the fact that when he hooked up with Mona Lisa, the roles of their relationship were reversed. Raph was very much the girl in that love affair.

Tiger Claw - "Eye of the tiger" by Survivor.

Come on, this is a shoe in and not just because of the title, look at those lyrics. "Rising up, back on the streets, did my time took my chances. went the distance now I'm back on my feet, just a man and his will to survive." If there's one guy who constantly overcame impossible odds, it's Tiger Claw.

Michelangelo - "Eric's Trip" by Sonic youth.

Regardless of what version of Michelangelo you think about, he's always this happy-go-lucky character but that there's actually a lot of anxiety involved is something people tend to overlook. This song captures that.
"I reject your reality and substitute my own."
- Adam Savage, "Mythbusters"
