I actually think April's design is kind of cute, but her description is still not sitting well with me. I like April to be team support to the Turtles not the 5th Turtle.

I've never been overly fond of the whole 5th Turtle idea personally.

Mikey sounds a lot like 4Kids Mikey, who I liked so I am still on a kind of wait and see thing. Leonardo and Raphael sound pretty standard Leo and Raph which pleases me greatly and Don sounds like Don with a "MEGA CRUSH ON APRIL" *laughs*

I like watching Don be socially awkward and if this is handled well it could actually be kind of funny in a "Big Bang Theory" humor type of way.

Just please show don't turn April into an all powerful mary-sue type character and I think this show will be good!

I like all the CG models so far. I think April and Splinter look better than the figures.

I also think April looks better in these Nick promos than she did as an action figure. Her head looks to have a more natural shape... less almond-like, IMO.

Some things I'm loving, some others are making me a bit worried, but I'm definitely thrilled. I'll try to hold my opinions until I see the ideas actually developed on the show, and I just can't wait.

Wasn't Aska from Super NES Tournament Fighters labeled one of these? Not that we'd have that in this show, but the concept would be interesting. We need more of those in the franchise, anyway.

I like the Kraang design the most, and the others aren't bad or I'll get used to them. And yet, they remind me of Kubricks figures or that could be the way my brain is reading their poses.

As for Miwa to Shredder, her description reminds me of 2003 Karai a little, which isn't a bad thing, either.

I just find it interesting that Shredder actually really love Miwa. I can't really think of another instance were we have seen Saki have affection for anyone. He's usually pretty universally ruthless.

Also I just hope Miwa is handled better then 2003 Karai, who came across at least to me as whiny and annoying for the first couple of seasons she was around.

Apologies, then. I haven't really started to pay attention to the Nicktoon until recently. It looks like a gap to me, which is fine. I assume it's to play on their youthful aspects... or he lost it in a battle. Heh. The latter is doubtful, due to the child rating.

I might as well ask, as I haven't read enough of the comic issues, but have the Turtles lost any teeth during battle? It would make for a fun thread dealing with that, I suppose.
