Will you be seeing Mutant Mayhem in theaters August 2nd?

So the movie is about a month away now, and of course reaction to this movie and its trailers have been mixed here. Based on what we've seen so far, I'm curious how many people here are actually going to see this in theaters, paying for a ticket?

This is a forum of hardcore TMNT fans with hardcore views on TMNT, so I expect the results to be a bit different here than other places. Vote truthfully on the poll, or at least how you feel right now.

Are you going to see this movie in theaters? A TMNT movie in theaters does not happen very often, so what will you do?

Only way I'd see it in theaters, is if Nickelodeon paid me ten grand plus expenses to do it.

Nope. If it has good reviews I will buy the dvd though. I just don't expect it to have good reviews. I really don't like Donatello's voice it's almost a deal breaker for me.

I don't think I'd even be willing to watch a pirated copy of this trash for free....

I plan on seeing it, But I won't be able to see it on opening weekend, Because I'll be in the middle of a 1 week cruise when it opens in theaters, and I will only be able to see it after I come back home from the cruise.

I'll be waiting for some in-depth reviews to get a good idea of what to expect. If I like what I hear, I'll definitely be there. My son's been asking me every day when we're going for a good while now.

Don't crucify me (lol), but if it's one of the few and far between TMNT appearances in a theater... I'll probably check it out, if I've got anyone else around here who'd be interested.

ON Aug 2nd? No way. I don't see stuff on premier days/weekend. Esp an option for people to take their unruly, obnoxious kids to. Preferably I'd love for my nephew to be interested in seeing it with me and his grandmother, and his parents if they're interested, but that's as far as I go wanting potentially disruptive kids around for it. But as picky and self centered as his ass is right now though

, if it wasn't his idea first he may not want to go and be expected to sit and behave in a theater, and this movie seems to not care to advertise itself in any way that he might develop any interest at all. They're kinda ruining my hope of him being interested in going and me being able to feel more justified in seeing it... LOL

You'd think everyone would adapt to this mentality as there's nothing worse than your moviegoing experience being ruined by crying babies or some loud kids who don't know when to shut up. Some parents spoil their kids by giving them too much candy and icees. One coworker of my says that movie theaters aren't for the very young ones, they have short attention spans and just want to talk and run around.

Going opening weekend. As I said before... if there are things I don't like, I'll definitely voice my thoughts. But even if I outright decide I hate it, I'm fine with paying to see it just so I can be a part of the conversation.

At this moment though, based on all I know about the film, I think I will at least like it to a degree.

I wouldn’t mind seeing it eventually, but I highly doubt I’ll see it in theaters. I’ve only been to the theater twice this year (Avatar and Spiderverse).

Probably not. Not because I’m against it I just hardly goto the theater unless it’s something I want to see really bad. I wouldn’t mind going though.

I will absolutely be seeing the film opening day. I like the designs of the Turtles, finally not Hulk-looking meatheads. The trailers all look fun. So... yes.
