TMNT at the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade - Page 3

Awesome float! Mikey looked so cool, wish I could have him come over for Christmas.

You can get the 2nd chance to catch it around 4:10 pm.

Oh good, I was hoping a thread like this existed.

Cool float! Aw, I don't think second chances on parades exist for me.

Although I can't complain too much since NBC and CBS are the same parade... caught TMNT on NBC and kept checking CBS to see them again.

Always found it weird NY was on two channels, but now it makes sense... lol (Throw in the regional one from Philly and I'm jumping between three channels... burning calories before dinner. lol)

Really though, next year get some scarves on those guys, they look a little cold.

Also because adorable.

It was great (float and costumes), I took some pics of the TV screen, but none of them came out decent looking. Did not pay attention to the song though.
I just kept a Pikachu pic and a Toothless pic.

The float and turtles were great! Loved Mikey's dance moves, LOL! I'm watching it again right now, and the TMNT are about to come on in a few. Spider-Man is up next. I liked that Pentatonix was in the parade as well- nice TMNT link there, too!

The other thing that made me laugh was the Smurfs float, with Papa Smurf shakin' his thing. So funny!

Just caught them again- and didn't notice before that Donnie was groovin' a bit too. Wish they would've shown less of the singers, though. They're good, (never heard of them before) but I wanted to see the Turts, not those guys.

Also, was anyone else a little disappointed by the horrible lip-syncing from KISS? I would've expected better from a bunch of rock legends.

One of the only reasons I like the parade is because of the Build A Bear float. Even the Chipmunks and Chipettes were there once for The Chipmunk Adventure!

I thought the sammmme thing. Was saying to myself while watching, at least do a wider shot so we can see the Turtles, too.

Should have stuck Pentatonix with the Turtles.

Their short little song they did for them would have been perfect length for a short parade performance.

Yeah, KISS was also an odd one to see there in general, when was the last time they did parade. lol (Supposedly somebody - or a group? - won the chance to choose who would be in it and picked KISS? Or so a family member was telling me.)

Judging from the way Gene Simmons was stumbling over his lip-syncing to the lyrics, that's entirely possible. I couldn't help but be disappointed by that. He looked like he forgot a line a couple of times.

@ Indigo- yeah, I wondered why they had Pentatonix at the back of the parade instead of with the TMNT, myself. Kinda weird, since they did that song. And you're right, that song would've been perfect for that float!
