Yeah, that's good, Mikey. I don't even trust you with a driver's license.

I'm happy Bebop and Rocksteady are getting some spotlight again. I think these two need their own 4-issue mini-series just seeing them go on wild shennannigans.

Woah-ho! That cover! Seriously, the covers have been stunning and again this one doesn't disappoint.

Alright, looks great.

That's remarkably reflective and smart for Bebop and Rocksteady. Their logic makes sense, and nice that they call back to the failed assasination attempt by Koya in North Hampton and that failed missions have consequences for the villains. Also interesting that Alopex is monitoring them. Wonder if she'll interject herself in this.

Figured Donny would head to Harold and Angel's. "Upgrade the person in the suit'" could just be Harold being irritable or maybe he's open to someone else taking Angel's job?

I love you Tom. No homo.

I guess Alopex overheard Pete talking to Bebop and Rocksteady, and so she's going to warn and join the mutants

Edit: Just noticed the release date in the link. Is it correct?

Only 5 more days! Can't wait to read this issue. I am glad we are getting more B&R. I started reading this comic because they were being introduced into it and couldn't resist.

Gods there's a lot going on in this book. I love it.

And it's great to see Bebop and Rocksteady getting some page time in the ongoing. We haven't seen much of them since City Fall. I love those lugs--was always super fond of how TMNTA treated them, as more ignorant, misguided and easily led than evil--and it's good to see them in IDW where they can still be their lunkhead punk selves... yet the series also skews to an old enough audience that (really for the first time outside maybe the first season of Fred Wolf TMNT) they can take full advantage of their physical strength and constitute a true, violent threat instead of only being punchlines.

Nice, looking forward!

I found a small mistake, tho: Angel said to Harold that he should upgrade his camera to higher resolution, which is wrong, because it wasn't the resolution, it was the framerate, and it's a bit weird that Harold as a grumpy scientist didn't corrected her.

I love the way Bebop and Rocksteady just stroll down a Manhattan street, get spotted by humans, and steal from an ATM in broad... uh, nightlight... in such a stark contrast to the shadowy, stealthy existence the turtles lead.

Happens to the best of us I actually went to my local comic shop this week expecting to pick up 38 only to realize I picked it up last week

Anyways I am really looking forward to this issue seeing as how much of a let down 38 was for me.

So is the public just aware of mutants in this universe? Like how do B&R just go about buying food?

I think its presumed that B&R just take whatever they want whenever they want it, and since they don't care if they are seen they just roam around scaring any one that sees them.

I would expect that the Foot have some kind of detail shadowing their mutants to keep the public knowledge of Bebop & Rocksteady suppressed. We don't see them because well... they are ninjas. (or a wizard did it.)

The concept of the Turtles or Mutants being outed to the public seems like it could make for a very interesting story that could be different than a vs. Foot or Krang arc. Since Stockgen is a smoking heap I've been hoping that April somehow finds her way toward Channel 6, (which I assume could be the party who discovers mutant footage, etc.)
