Confusion about DVD releases

I've been pretty out of the loop with any new TMNT releases recently, so I was wondering if anyone could help me with trying to figure out how I can get this whole show on DVD, since they don't seem to want to release it on Blu-ray.

I have the complete first season box set, which in reality is just the single releases all put together in one slipcover. I went to try and find the complete second season...but it turns out they made a "complete first and second seasons" set, and I don't want have to re-buy season one since I already own it. Have they announced anything regarding a "complete third and fourth seasons" set, or was this just a one off thing?

I could go after all the single release DVDS to get all the episodes, but I'd much rather season sets (even if they are just like the first seasons set). Are there any plans for more DVD releases for this series, or even Blu-ray? I'd love to see a complete series box set.

We don't know much yet, but check out this:

If more releases are announced in DVD-region 1, that website will be updated.

I'm also waiting for blu-rays. For what its worth Nick just released Avatar the last Airbender to blu-ray, another Nick produced cartoon.

I think "Rise of the TMNT" will be the last TMNT TV series. Upcoming series will be produced by Nickelodeon, to premiere at Netflix.

I have seasons 1-3 on the separate releases, looking to buy 4 and 5 soon. (Especially since I haven't seen anything past the first half of 4, fell behind and never caught up.)

From what I've seen Nick has abandoned box sets entirely. Also, is there a reason season 4 is on 2 DVD sets instead of all the others which have 3?

The A:TLA Blu-ray set does give me some hope, though that show is a lot more beloved than this one. A full Blu-ray set of this show would be a day one purchase from me and I'm sure a fair amount of members here as well.

Actually the last few episodes of season 4 are on with the first four episodes of season 5. Why they did it that way? I'm guessing has to do with the arc leading up to season 5.

Season 4 is easy to split up into the space adventures and the rest.
