On Tuesday, I picked up Classics Starscream from a local seller. I'm not loving the paint scheme but I saw a custom on youtube that looks amazing.

and today, Masterpiece Starscream from another local seller. I was yet again regretting how I never picked one up a few years back and when I did a random search, there it was!

^ Awesome, leader Starscream is amazing... such great poseability too! I'm gonna' pick up Iron Hide tomorrow as Zellers has a sale on. I've been holding off on it for some reason... the Ratchet looks terrible IMO, so I just bought the deluxe. I also managed to find Shockwave on eBay for $20!

Okay, so I broke the bank today folks... I finally ordered... *cue heroic music*

So I'm now collecting Beast Wars characters that appeared in the show... yes, I LOVE Beast Wars! So after 2 days of searching locally, I've purchased:

* 10th Anniversary Cheetor & Rhinox (MIB) - comes with Transmutate BAF parts.
* Quickstrike
* Rampage
* Tigerhawk
* Transmetal 2 Megatron
* Transmetal Optimus
* Transmetal 2 Optimal Optimus
* Transmetal Rattrap
* Transmetal Tarantulas

And all at great prices!
I've still got a long way to go, to get all of the incarnations of each character (well, characters that I like anyway) but these are fun to collect and aren't that expensive to acquire used. The one I'm having trouble finding at a good price is Transmetal Megatron.

That's just prime!

I unintentionally kicked up my Marvel Universe collection.

Initially, I had just picked up a Planet Hulk figure, but the leg popped off, so I e-mailed Hasbro---They sent me a replacement. I was able to fix the leg, but the replacement they sent wasn't the Hulk at all, it was Spider-Woman. So I replied to them again, and they issued another replacement. I returned SW to a store and got a US Agent figure (close enough to MU) to replace her.

Then I stumbled across an Apocalypse, so I snagged him (I tend to usually stick to getting larger MU figures, cause it feels like less of a waste of $8--Hence my initial collection consisted of Red Hulk, Hulkbuster Iron Man, etc). Then the second replacement from Hasbro came, and much to my surprise, it was one of the figures I'd really been hoping to find--Cable.

It was the Cable variant without Baby Hope, so I was stoked.

Then the next night I happened to look in a toy aisle and find a Crossbones figure (who I'd originally been looking for when I picked up US Agent), and for some odd reason a Dark Hawkeye just happened to be at a store where they'd only had a bajillion Iron Men MU figures, Mystique, and 1st Appearance Wolverine. So, I grabbed Crossbones and Hawkeye (who I'd seen go for about 45 on ebay the night prior).

Now, does anyone know how the distribution/timeline of the release of these figures works? Cause I know that Dark Hawkeye is from series 2, and most of the figures I'm seeing now are series 3. Yet, there are countless figures from series 1 and 2 that I've never seen. That, and each series seems to be getting bigger. Does anyone know how many figures are in each series?

I also found a gallery for figures from the line from comicon, and I guess I need to keep my eyes peeled more often, cause theres a ton of those I want.

Also, Marvel Legends seems to be coming back? I haven't bought any of Hasbro's Marvel legends (cause they were terrible), but the line-up thus far isn't bad.

Yeah, Hasbro's Marvel Legends haven't been very good, but I think I'm gonna get the Extremis Iron Man and Heroic Age Thor from the new line. I think they look pretty good.

More oddities: More series 2 is randomly hitting, I spotted a MU Winter Soldier (passed), and some others...But picked up a THANOS, from series 2.

FYI too, dunno if this is everywhere (should be), I snagged Thanos, assuming itd be the 7.99 price point, but on my reciept, it came up as 6.99, with a dollar off sale. It was at Target, so I'm assuming this week MU/Cap toys are a dollar off? Unsure, all I know is that I was watching an auction for Thanos last night, and he was getting crazy expensive, and I stumbled into him for cheap.

I think I'm good until the next series comes out though. Unless I find a sweet deal on 90s Cyclops, or I see the X-Force 3 pack in stores (doubtful).

Edit: Saw the Young Justice figures at Target tonight also, and made a pass. 20 for the 6 inch and 10 solid for the 4 inch? No thanks. They also had the new Batman line, and 2 packs (like the Arkham city 2 pack). No 2 packs of YJ though.
