I guess I'm only allowed to love Seth Rogen and this new TMNT movie. He is definitely going to make it the best TMNT movie of all time. I am on the Rogen/Mutant Mayhem train.

She's catching some flak right now from weirdos on her Ninja Pizza Facebook group. The types that used to be members here but left because, "Oh, the toxic misery here! I don't know how I stayed there as long as I did!" etc., etc..

It's frustrating because I don't f-ing care if someone smokes pot or not. But it's about 90% of Rogen's personality and he has recently declared he doesn't like kids movies. So please, how does putting him in charge of the kiddiest of the TMNT movies make any sense.

I just want a good TMNT movie, dammit.

People act like it's the only place that requires a thicker skin over conflicting opinions over TMNT stuff. That doesn't exist elsewhere? BS. I don't pay attention to FB, Twitter, Instagram... just Reddit sometimes, but people sometimes get their undies in a bunch enough there as well.

On the other hand I guess a forum situation might be too intimidating for many people who are now just used to the texting and Twitter world of short comments and disagreements being likewise, unlike a forum that is more inclined to support a paragraph (or several) from someone who disagreed and may go into detail to tell you why. I guess that's "mean" or aggressive now if it isn't no more than two sentences.

People are taking disagreement or criticism of something they like WAY too personally anymore, like it's a judgement of them and not the product.

It is a bit discouraging he's the "Face" of this iterations of TMNT, like Michael Bay before him, given his track record but we're very early into this movies production. Maybe what we've seen will go the way of Alien Turtles: A Michael Bay Production.

If everyone's getting banned for weeks/months for so much as sharing a glimpse of these horrible storyboards it's a pretty safe bet they're the genuine article and Nick/Viacom sounded the alarm.

Probably no plants, but small userbase or not, it would only make sense for this place to be a pit stop for the film's marketing team now and again.

I'm sure they've already surmised that they probably aren't going to cultivate a grassroots movement from this community.

Movie studios have been caught in the past paying a lot of money to these social media "influencing" companies to drum up this or that about movies or shows. Largely this translates into large numbers of fake Facebook accounts who will go and like the crap out of posts about a thing, high five each other and talk down anyone saying anything different about the thing (also balloon Youtube numbers). That they'd take a pit stop at the Drome as they have in the past would hardly be out of the question, and it's not like they need to show receipts to their benefactor.
