Nortock Diab's Turtles Extravaganza
Hi !
I've been wanting for a long time to post some pics of my creations which are usually some casual drawings (I will try to do a selection first!). You can find below a "beach" drawing of Leonardo made directly on the sand using a shell as a pen (not a turtle shell though). It was a pretty fun thing to do! You almost have a real size Leo down there . There is also a colour attempt (using green sea weed). I loved the "colouring" concept yet the result is not that convincing . Hop you enjoy it!

Here are some rough sketches (made mainly at work ).
With the first one I tried to emulate some Jim Lawson style, the second would be closer to a Kevin Eastman approach and the third one's inspiration is all but crystal clear. I am working on something more ambitious at the moment, hopefully it will be presented in this section soon. Thanks for giving a look to my creations! |

Thanks!
I really need to get back to my more serious project though. I would love to see dromers comments about it. |

Nice work!
It's too bad you couldn't preserve the sand art. Love the feel of your sketches. I can see the Lawson influence, but to me they look more akin to some of the mid-to-late Mirage Turtles. Do you have any more to share? |

Thanks.
At the moment I have nothing else to share, unfortunately . There is a more worked-on piece wich has been finished for a looooong while but it is part a bigger thing so I prefer not to show it right now . |

Thanks!
My sister just offered me a sketchbook, a brush and some Indian ink. Here are my first two attempts at using this new material! |

Thank you for your support!
Here is the continuation of my Indian ink adventures. I tried a more wet pencil with the first drawing. It is way faster to do this way and Krang's skin texture is interesting. Yet, I came back to a drier approach with the other 2 drawings. It gives better results in my opinion. |
