I finally got my DVDs today. Also, since Time-Life screwed up with my order and failed to upgrade it to an overnight shipment, they've credited $22 to my credit card since that's how much overnight shipping costs. I was actually thinking they might do something like this, except I thought they might give me free overnight shipping on the next thing I ever order from them, if I were to ever order from them again.

Now that I've got my own DVDs and checked them out, there are some corrections I have to make about the domestic and international masters used on this set. So now here's a correct list of international masters on this set that are different from their domestic masters.

Spoiler:

For Whom the Bell Trolls
The writers are credited in a different order, with one of their names shortened. Kimberly has a line added to the international master. So that's cool with me.

Dark Warrior
I guess the shortened scene isn't much of a big deal.

Green with Evil I-V
No comparison video for these, but it's actually the international masters that are entitled "Green with Evil [x]" while the domestic masters have the individual titles. Only one person seemed to know that, and never said anything about it until now. I don't care what titles the episodes on the set display, as long as they're consistent.

A Star is Born
Probably no big deal here.

Welcome to Venus Island
The worst offender of them all. I know the missing lines by memory and where they go, but it would be nice to have them on Shout! Factory's set. They did their best to look for the better masters, but didn't have access to everything. So I can't put them down for trying.

The Ninja Encounter part III
Music replaced there. I mostly skip over that scene so it's probably no big deal for me.

Ninja Quest part III
The extra Tommy line is kind of cool, but Ninjor's lines were changed a little. So I'm not even sure I prefer this version either. There's just something about having everything the way they originally were, you know?

A Brush with Destiny
That just has the Ninja Ranger morph sequence removed just for the sake of having the Ninja Ranger morph stance scene longer.

Changing of the Zords part I
I think I just prefer the name "Shogunzords".

It Came from Angel Grove
It's too bad the dedication isn't there. It would have been a good way to honor the dead, even with this set. Especially when it's a little kid.

The Joke's on Blue
They've called things the wrong names by mistake, so I'll try not to make a big deal out of this one.

Shift into Turbo part I
This is actually how it aired the first time, so it's cool with me. The other version only aired on ABC Family and ToonDisney.

Silent Sleep
I see this one as an improvement.

Turn up the Volume
So who really did write this episode?

These are seven episodes that have different international masters, but the sets have their domestic masters. They're "Doomsday part I", "Beauty and the Beast", "White Light part I", "Changing of the Zords part II", "Changing of the Zords part III", "The Shooting Star", and "Rock-A-Bye Power Rangers". "Changing of the Zords" parts II and III were the two that I originally misinterpreted having their international masters, and I'm glad that their domestic masters are the ones being used. "A Friend in Need part I" is another episode that has its domestic master being used on the set, though the only difference is that the TV-Y7 and closed captioning symbols appear in the opening sequence, and the "Saban Entertainment" logo (instead of "Saban International") appears after the ending credits.

I'll just have to wait and see. I still have to play all the discs to see if they're all working right and not skipping. The cases aren't broken or anything though, and the discs were all secure.

Seems like France will be airing Super Samurai episodes ahead of the States. "A Crack In The World" aired today, and "Stroke of Fate" is scheduled for September 5th.

Information from Rangercrew's twitter

-Main villain of Megaforce is called "Vrack" (for Sentai fans, that's the US name of Bajira)
-The footsoldiers are called the Loogies
-Morpher is called the Gosei Morpher
-Goseiknight is confirmed as Roboknight in the series
-The show will have a bit of a sky theme going on

Yes, from Lightspeed Rescue to either Wild Force or Ninja Storm, and here's the Twitter link.

https://twitter.com/RangerCrew/statu...49464176193537

The more seasons they knock out, the better, but it'll probably just go up to Wild Force since Ninja Storm somewhat starts another kind of era. Whatever they go up to though, I just PRAY that they get the pre-9/11 copies of Time Force episodes. Currently there's a PRTF marathon happening on Nicktoons pretty much this whole weekend, and unfortunately it's the post-9/11 edits that they're showing.

So do I, although Brian Ward from Shout! Factory said he'll try to get them for the DVD sets.

If he can, I expect a big deal to come out of hyping up the DVDs

"for the first time since 2001 (and in some cases, ever), see Power Rangers Time Force as originally aired"

From left to right: Ciara Hanna (Gia), John Mark Loudermilk (Noah), Andrew Gray (Troy), Azim Rizk (Jake), and Christina Masterson (Emma).

Also, a picture of them with the Samurai cast.

The Megaforce Cast looks like the youngest cast yet

As for the new set, yeah uncensored unaltered cuts are the best. I think the Time Force eps on Netflix would be the pre-9/11 copies most likely right?

I can't wait to get Dino Thunder

They are.

I've kind of wondered when they might use names like "Jake" and "Emma" for rangers.

Ethnically at least. Except for Jake (Black Megaforce Ranger) and Mike (Green Samurai Ranger). I'm kind of hoping that Jake will be a ranger of Middle Eastern ethnicity.

Interestingly, the Legend War was shown unedited in the Megaforce teaser. With pre-Zyuranger teams.

...Reallllly not liking this. PR shouldnt be copying Sentai this faithfully. Bloody Tzachor.
