Kingsman 3

... will not have Eggsy.

A prequel, probably.

Huh.

While I'm disappointed at not getting a proper Kingsman 3 yet, I'm sure it'll happen at some point and I'm also excited for a prequel.

Also lame that we have to wait 2 movies to see if Roxy really died or not. I'm not even necessarily convinced Merlin died.

I dunno, I wish Colin Firth had stayed dead. I get the star power, but the whole "brain-regeneration gel" plot device was even worse than Benedict Khanberbatch's magic resurrection blood.

Roxy really needs to be brought back, though. That felt a little "women in refrigerators" to me. Also, she had a ton of potential moving forward.

Yeah, he took a lot away from things in part 2. If they really wanted to bring him back, they should have waited another movie at least. Let Eggsy breathe a little.

It was so confusing and I thought it was a joke. Like, "Hahahaha, no way did she die just now. She'll pop up in the end credits, at least. Surely. No? That's really it for her? Really?" Lame.

It felt like most of the stuff the script needed Firth for... were jokes and humorous callbacks. Like the bar fight and "manners maketh man." Or butterflies.

And yeah, I kept expecting Roxy to pop up later, a deux ex machina to save the day. But nope.

Oh well. At least we had Poppy's awesome hamburgers.

Oh, look, it's World War I! Wonder where Gal Gadot is?

So it's out right now? Wtf... Spider-Man: Endgame (basically) is still freshly out from last weekend, Matrix 4 just hit... and Kingsman 3 (basically) is also out this weekend? This is like the most ill planned release ever. I've been looking forward to The King's Man for like a year plus but even I am like... f***, I just saw Matrix 4. Maybe next weekend.

Well, I saw it... and I think it's brilliant! And I largely disliked Kingsman 2.

Apparently the proper Kingsman 3 should be shooting this month:

Spoiler for the new Henry Caville movie Argyle

Spoiler:
It's post-credits reveals it's a Kingsman spin-off, though with the film's box office performance being pretty bad, heavens knows if they'll make something more of this
