His mouth looks really weird, probably due to the unpainted tongue, but the body looks significantly better then the Basics.

Is there any new info on these figures?
I pre-ordered them on Amazon, but my orders have been cancelled and it looks like Amazon removed them.

I had my preorders canceled on Amazon as well. I keep hoping they will pop back up because finding new stuff in stores has been sparse at best. After literally months of store hopping, I finally got all of Wave 2. If the "Chase" models are anything like other manufactures Chase items, the Donnie figures are going to be impossible to find.

They are possibly still on the production schedule.

Can't wait for Pixel Dan to do his usual interview with Playmates at SDCC in a few days, he better ask where is all the product. It's looking really dire for the line right now.

I mean, if it were cancelled it would be no skin off my back. Finally, after many years of sorrow, NECA is stepping up, and we have companies like DC Collectibles throwing their hat in too. Who knows, maybe we could see more Revo or SHF Turtle product eventually as well. We'll be alright.

Your input does help, so thanks for chiming in. You get a lot of the turtle stuff very early, so if you haven't seen it then we know new Playmates RotTMNT product unlikely to be soon.

The newest wave I've seen around here were the Battle Shell ones....but that was at just one Walmart. The other several stores that I've checked (Target and other Walmarts) still have Wave 1 on their pegs and even some of the Targets have them on sale with a dollar off each figure...

I’m not sure if they are there, but they have an over priced Shredder at the Nick booth for $30. I was just searching around and that’s the only thing I saw for Playmates and SDCC.

As for the Pizza Points, the site is working for me, but now it's stating that Sewer Squad Members have until 9/30/2019 to place their orders and use pizza points. So I guess that's it for rewards and the pizza points? That was fast. I think I have only acquired enough to snag the Muckman box. I kind of wanted the second box, but I'll take whatever I can before time is up.

Did Playmates even attend SDCC this year? Usually Pixel dan would have a video with them but I see nothing this year.

Their SDCC exclusives were exceedingly lazy this year, just a bunch of repacks/repaints. Even that Shredder, while it's a bit of an early access, is definitely nothing special as an exclusive.

If they really did skip out this year on showing anything then I think we get the message.

Yeah, I figured there might be something at least some info on waves coming for the holiday season, but here we are almost a year since the first wave was sporadically found before the official release and we’ve barely got two waves (saying barely since it wasn’t readily available for many).

Seeing how prominent Rise is in that bit of marketing for 35 years of TMNT made me think otherwise at first.
