Didn't Playmates shut down the line entirely? They're probably never coming now..

I bought an extra set of the original cartoon classics. Glad I did that, they may be valuable some day. Wish I got a chance to get the movie classics.. I stopped at countless stores during my drive through the US in October last year and didn't even see ONE of them. I saw them once in Edmonton at a comic shop for $34.99 each. Way too much money. If these things never make it to TRU or Walmart, I'm never getting them.

I do.

I have several of the Kidrobot figs extra, (I'll have to check which) and I'm looking for Rocksteady and Krang.
(I work in Toronto)

Also - I haven't seen the roleplay turtles anywhere yet - but they have been out for a while, right?

thing is though we're still so far behind up here distribution wise it's just retarded and annoying. when i have to pay twice as much to get it from the US cause our dollar up here is in such poor shape, it's just pathetic! but i guess such is the life of a collector, and i've been doing it this long that i'm not gonna quit

That's what I'd heard - but I've never seen them.
I only saw the comic book turtles and the tigerclaw wave once - around that time, when I bought them.

Ever since it's only been the squirranoid wave clogging the shelves.

My local had the mutations figs - both the deluxe and regular.

Also I checked and I have Kid robot for trade - Leo, Mike and foot soldier.

Today I found at the local Walmart in Burlington Ontario the Mutations vehicles with exclusive Leo and Raph. They also had the zipline sets on clearance $15.
Other then that they have the mutations turtles and the mix and match sets. No new basic figures.

Also the latest Nick toon dvd is out today. Season 3 part 1

I keep seeing "kid robot Casey Jones and Karai" being thrown around here...was a 2nd wave of Kid Robot blind boxes released? or are you guys talking about the Loyal Subjects blind box figures?

I grabbed that from Target recently for $20.

Wal-mart had the Movie Big Rig set and the Turtle Sub on clearance for $60.

I also saw the T-Machines there. In with the figures, not with the Hot Wheels.

At toys r us I saw they had the t-machines shredder's revenge play set but have yet to see any cars at Walmart or toysrus.

I ordered Bebop and Rocksteady from Amazon.com since they are $8.88 US each. Got tired of waiting for them since I need them for my son's birthday on April 2nd. They came to $33 with all the exchange and shipping and import fees factored in so about $16.50 each. About $5/figure more than here in Canada.

The slow distribution has killed collecting the line for me. I have not gone out of my way to pick up a full wave since the Rat King wave. The last 2 figures I can remember buying are the Comic version of Leo and that "SDCC" black and white Raph (which I snagged for a cool $4 after shipping...thank you TRU Canada and your terrible website team!)

This is only an opinion, but I feel like since we are getting bilingual packaging and not to mention having the whole spin masters/playmates banner that its delaying the release of the figures. I refuse to pay scalper prices on this line because if I have learned anything from years of collecting it is "be patient, be smart and be persistent".
