It arrived today. There's no signs of it being a non production piece that I can see. But I'll be trying to get some photos of it with Don and Leo this weekend.

So this August I went to Japan with my girlfriend for the 2015 World Yoyo Contest (long and fun story for another moment)
I was determinated to bring some goods for myself, but could not expect to find these Payed 2300Y for all the set on a small supermarket, around 19$. Apparently they were in super sale. JACKPOT

I like the figures as an interesting find, but I would like to hear more on the Yoyo story.

I've played yoyo for the last 10 years or so. In the last 5 I've also been more active in the competition enviroment. With the WYYC being held in Tokyo I could not resist and made a big trip there. No chance at all as I finished 91 among 93 in the preliminary round, but enjoyed every single moment of my comrades performances. In the main division, Zach Gormley from USA took the title. End of offtopic

Now this is what I consider a steal these days: 24 TMNT figs, missing accessories but otherwise surprisingly mint. 5 vehicles including the main reason I wanted the lot; a near complete Mutant Module I've been hunting for years. 10 Marvel figs nobody cares about. 1 random cow. $40 from some craigslist sucka (he tried to eff me at the last second). |

Definitely a steal, congratulations.
I was excited because I got a lot that included a complete Utrom (which I never find for a reasonable price), Dark Assassin, Foot Mystic and Ultimate Ninja for 10.50 on ebay. You easily win. |

Bought another set of the pizza pop-up playset.
Paid 50 SEK (about $5,93). At first they was sold for just under 300 SEK (about $35), after that they were down 50% for a long time. Now the price plummeted to 1/6 of original price. I classify that as a steal. |

If anyone was interested in the 3D LED Deco Lights that came out last year, Target is finally selling them on clearance to make room for Star Wars lights. I bought Leo, Raph and Mikey plus their weapons for $9 each at one store today. (I already had Donatello from when they dropped him from the layout months ago.)

I love that in that big toy lot there is a random cow. Since it wasn't explained how the guy tried to screw you over in the end I am gonna assume he tried to take back the cow for sentimental reasons and you said "no cow, no deal". Let me know if I am close

I don't know if it qualifies as a steal compared to US prices, but here in the UK vintage TMNT stuff costs an arm and a leg. That said I just picked up a sealed in the box 1989 Sewer Playset for £225 in the most immaculate box I have ever seen for any Playmates vehicle or playset.

Not the cheapest thing, but a fantastic treasure nevertheless.

I don't know if it's a steal (and I hope I didn't rip anybody off), but the guy that get s me most of my new stuff came across this HyperShell, and offered it to me last week.
I think its pretty cool. I was going to take it home, but it got so much attention from students that I decided to keep it in my classroom with the small class set of TMNT stuff. |
