Yep, this story that was based on an idea from Laird in 1987 that has been marketed as being able it fit in any TMNT universe is going to be about a character that is only part of the IDW series that was just created. Come on.

If we get this can we have the ongoing free of the Mutant Town plot? Its the perfect opportunity to free it up and a place for the Mutant Town plot while we get to explore the other threads out there.

I really like the comic. As long they keep both the artist and writer from the first book, I am willing to stay invested in this.

And I'm pretty sure Laird would demand that his name be removed from it entirely if it was changed to a female Turtle.
