I've not seen him anywhere. I gave up waiting and got him from the US ebay in the end. He only cost me £14.

When I was there yesterday they didn't have much left on the peg and not much on the extra stock shelf either (although it was a bit messy up there to tell for sure).
Haven't been in today as I didn't want to go out in the rain and get soaked!

The figures are now also out in France (by Giochi Preziosi) and in Germany (by Stadlbauer)!
Toys R Us France page
Amazon France page
Toys R Us Germany page

By the way, could we perhaps change this thread from a UK only to a Europe thread?

My local Asda have got all the TMNT figures for half price. Picked up a Shredder for £5! Good times!

Bah. My local Asda has NO boys' toys. There's a single aisle of girls' & pre-school stuff, that's it.

Braved the carnage of Asda on a Satursday afternoon,
They had one TMNT figure - a Kraang
Also got a nice Batman t-shirt for £7
So not a bad afternoon

Cheers,

Looks like there is a new magazine (and stickers/trading cards) coming to the UK and several other countries in May made by Panini.

Quote:
Nickelodeon Global Publishing has inked a magazine deal with Panini to bring Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics to European markets this May.

The 32-page magazine is headed for UK, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, Russia, Poland and Italy and will include original comic strip content and puzzles.

In addition to the TV-tie in content, Panini will also be publishing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics in Italy, Germany and Brazil, and has picked up book publishing rights to the TV series tie-in content in Brazil and Germany.

A further deal for collectible rights on the property has been signed with Panini for Europe and Latin America and will cover classic print collectibles including Panini’s sticker collections, trading cards with or without playable elements and additional ancillary collectible items.

That's interesting, could be difficult to resist the cards
(assuming that they're Match Attax prices, rather than Pokémon prices)

Will have to pick up the first couple of comic issues too, not holding any great hopes of it being much good though...

Cheers,
Doug

finally some stuff about the card game starting to leak out... i hope this is not UK exclusive... it says "starter pack" so i assume it is a CCG and not just trading cards... that could be really interesting and addicting

Why the shell do I have to live miles away from an ASDA. the one near me is over an our away, petrol cost would make it a total waste of time. Is there any chance they will go on the website for a £5 each?

Thanks

The Playmates toys are finally starting to show up in The Netherlands!

The Shellraiser is available at bol.com for €42,99.

The figures are available at Intertoys for €13,99, it's weird that the Foot Soldier is not mentioned though.

Have not seen the toys in stores yet, but it's a start.

Here's another update from The Netherlands.

I visited two toy stores today, Intertoys didn't have anything TMNT at all.
Bart Smit had all the Lego sets (except Baxter) and they just got the Mash'Ems mini figures for €3, I bought one (got Mikey).
So still no Playmates toys to be found in stores.
