Tonight starts the final season and after a 3 years of not watching (I skipped 5-7) I am gonna watch since it sets up for the crossover.

Also best part of Season 8 no more of the cancer that is Felicity Smoak on the show

5 was pretty good. I liked that dude's Prometheus, and it was a satisfying season finale with Deathstroke and the island. The less said about 6 and especially 7, the better.

Can someone explain to me how there is even flashforwards to the 2040s when in-story there is supposed to be the Crisis in like a week, that wipes out all universes? Like, how would there even be that future, or any future? Seems like kind of a spoiler, no?

Just caught the first ep, so about 3 behind you guys, sounds about usual. I'll read spoilers anyway.
Glad Diggle showed up, still don't care about the future stuff so much but it is leading to a new series.

The future still is god awful. And the new series isn't necessarily a given... they've merely been approved to make a pilot. It could (and should) be shot down.

Oh wow... this latest episode was horrible. They have 2 episodes left and they just make the episodes all about Mia to push people into the new show. 8 years of show and this is what they do? Appalling.

And now all of the flash-forwards that packed half of last season and this one don't matter because they were wiped out?

Tonights was the Backdoor Pilot for Mia's show next week. (I enjoyed it was more Birds of Prey than that terrible looking movie) is the Series Finale episode which is different.

So, eh... what's the plan there? The way he talks about the HBO Max show it doesn't sound like he's going there... so a second Green Lantern series, then? Maybe ship him off to Legends, to be a GL for them?

Watched it last night. Not terrible but... strange? And undoing the death of his mom and Laurel's dad is all well and good, but not a word is said about how this would have rippled forward and undone many major events and characters stuff over the course of the series. In essence, between this and "Crisis" undoing half of the last two seasons (the entirety of the flash forward to 2040 stuff, which was half of this season AND the last season)... basically most of the show didn't happen, now, or at least happened very differently.

Huh, that I didn't expect, more so Moira (that her name spelling?) given she has been gone so much longer, would take the ripple back further, but with things changing up so much anyway.... I have yet to even see Crisis as it hasn't aired here yet.

Well, good to know if I ever binge-watch Seasons 2 and following. I suppose I can just stop around Season 5.

That's what I kind of did.

Watched S1-4 skipped s5-7 (those got real Olicity heavy) came back for the final season which was pretty good.

Part of me wonders if he tried to "give both sides" because many of the shows heroes wield guns with almost reckless abandon.
