Don't be a silly goose, you know they'd roll out another show relatively quickly in the event of that. TMNT's a powerhouse. You have many more hopefully nostril-less iterations to look forward to.

What if they give them beaks to make them more 'real?' That would probably be worse to Cubee then Nostrilgate.

That would actually be pretty cool if they took the Mirage "beak" look

There are two things that would prevent me from watching a future TMNT cartoon:

1. The Turtles having nostrils like the Bay movies.

2. If Bebop is in the show, he isn't black prior to mutation or Rocksteady/Bebop are just filthy barnyard animals instead of humans before they're mutated.

Other than those 2 things, I'll probably watch any future TMNT cartoon no matter how bad it may be.

I don't think a rhino and a warthog are 'common' barnyard animals.

I would rather them be animals then what they had for the OOTS movie.

I'm down if it looks good. I've seen some pretty cool designs that featured beaks.

the original design of the Mirage Tmnt had an almost beak-like look to them.

Not surprising it's low as it was up on the Nick website a couple of hours before it aired.

Those are the second lowest ratings the show has ever had, right?

(Just a grammar question, when talking about the ratings for a single episode, should I use plural or singular? I used "those are" and "ratings" here, but I'm not sure if I should have used "that is" and "rating" instead. Neither one feels right somehow.)

I wonder if Nick has any way of telling how many people watched the show on there.

Probably, it would be like You Tube views but they only see it and we don't.

Of course they do. Anyone who owns a website knows how many views it has and which pages are clicked and which videos are watched. This has been common knowledge for 20 years.

i think i'm ready for a whole new cartoon take on the series.

hopefully April and Casey will be Adults again?

(just so long as Casey isn't a clean cut officer, and no Nostril, steroid monster Turtles either!)

i'd like a cartoon (loosely or largely) based of the IDW comics.

keep the same voice actors if you like, but i'm personally ready for something new.

i think the massive over-use of Splinter 'fake-death' is what really made me not care anymore.

maybe they can do something different? like Splinter finally eats his Cheese-Phone?
but then at the end of the episode we find out that he didn't actually eat the Cheese-Phone after-all!

Alright, I doubt anyone cares but I'll put this here anyway.

Top ten highest rated episodes from top to bottom:
  1. Rise of the Turtles part 1. 3.92
  2. Rise of the Turtles part 2. 3.92
  3. Monkey Brains. 3.69
  4. Metalhead. 3.61
  5. It Came From the Depths. 3.46
  6. Mousers Attack! 3.37
  7. Turtle Temper. 3.25
  8. Showdown part 1. 3.14
  9. Showdown part 2. 3.14
  10. Karai's Vendetta. 3.05

And the top 10 lowest, this time from bottom to top:
  1. When Worlds Collide part 1. 0.91
  2. When Worlds Collide part 2. 0.91
  3. Osoroshi no Tabi. 0.93
  4. Wanted: Bebop & Rocksteady. 0.96
  5. The Foot Walks Again! 0.96
  6. The Big Blowout. 0.96
  7. Kagayake! Kintaro. 0.97
  8. Yojimbo. 0.99
  9. The Forgotten Swordsman. 0.99
  10. Scroll of the Demodragon. 1.01

Please note that these are the ratings shown on Wikipedia, the Nicktoons episodes would probably take the top 7 highest (lowest?) spots on this list if I could see what the ratings were, because of the generally low ratings on Nicktoons. It's barely even woth pointing out but all the top episodes are in season 1 and all the bottom ones are in season 5.

I can't really say I'm surprised to see the ratings drop over five years. Still, kind of embarrasing to see a show go from a first season with an avarage of 2.89 to 0.92, not even cracking 1.0 (and like I said, the real number is probably even lower, somewhere between 0.63-0.81).
