Just wanted to add...
If this would've been a little parody segment in a show à la Robot Chicken or something, or like what Star Wars Detours was gonna be, I would've been perfectly fine with it... But as the official new iteration of our beloved Thundercats, after the two great shows that we've had... no. Just no. I sincerely hope that they're planning to do something else, like a live action movie or something to wash all this away. |

I'd check out a live action movie if one was ever made.

a CGI movie of the Thundercats was almost made years ago.
This was test footage from Warner Bros for what could have been a CGI Thundercats movie. |

If Marvel or someone like that handled a live action film, that could be pretty decent.

I had a feeling it had started seen as talk popped up on twitter. Not sure if it is out here but I'm not really interested in taking a look at it.

I watched the first two episodes. It...well it certainly does exist.
I thought the robot bears were funny. Nothing else was funny. I just don't get why this exists. TC fans won't like this. Casual people won't like this unless its ironically, and kids won't like this. Actually I'll take back that last statement. Kids like Teen Titans Go so they COULD like this. Last edited by Dejablue; 01-13-2020 at 02:52 PM. |

This show turned out to be bad, as expected but not for the reasons I expected it to. I thought it was going to turn out to be annoying and lacking in effort, but there was clearly effort put into the animation and nothing really irks me enough to call it annoying, so those would not be accurate criticisms. It did however turn out to be really boring and ugly. The ten minute episodes have really weird pacing, making them feel like they're closer to 40, maybe it just feels like that because they're unfunny and just fail to give us a reason to care about the characters? And when I say it's ugly, I don't mean the actual animation is bad, I mean that the character models are really ugly to look at and distort in ways that make them even uglier (the times the lips get enlarged are especially gross).
If I were to describe this crap simply, I'd say it feels like a two-minute Thundercats parody on Youtube stretched out to be 10 times longer. |

The real question is, would you want the action figures?

wow. I thought this would have created a bigger uproar, instead, is barely sqeaked into existence. nobody gives a flaming ****.
Why the hell couldn't we all have done the same for Rise, just, ignored that garbage and killed it with indifference? |

I blame Teen Titans Go for this. After Teen titans Go "Success", Every Superhero type of show wanted there own version of this type of comedy of spoofing a great or good work.
Thundarcats was just the next victim. |

I like how you put success in quotes like it isn't one.

The fact that it's still all over my Neftlix AND Youtube suggestions list certainly suggests a certain level of achievement.

I JUST DONT GET IT, on how it lasted so long. When I first saw it, I was like ok, it will last a season, maybe 2, but that is it. But it keeps going on and on. And before I know it, other Super hero cartoon shows are following this format. To see comic book cartoons take a serious tone from X-Men, Batman ete in the 90's, to being spoof in the 2010's and making money? This is coming from a guy that loves him some SpaceGhost, but not coast to coast lol. |

Kids love it. Their target audience. It's not hard to figure out. Hence, it's a success.
Or you can just being in deniable, it's whatevs. |
