I was just about to cave on the Super7 Turtles, but guess I'll be holding off for now until I can find out more about these guys.

The TMNT license is really being stretched thin, I gotta say. Still... I really dig the look of these. Well... except for the texture of their skin. It's kind of making them look a bit aged/old.

I am more curious on the extras they come with, that will let me know if I need this set. Otherwise the neca mirage ones are just as good for right now.
I bet it will be a 4 pack like their ghostbuster set and warrior set. Either way I am fine but one at a time is def less of a hit to the old wallet. |

They look good but Mezco One:12 is expensive. Normally that can be justified with their soft goods tailoring but that's not the case here. Without that element I'm not sure these will be worth the $80-100 each asking price they'll almost certainly carry.
Honestly, I'm a little surprised they went with the traditional look over putting more of their own spin on them with IDW style wraps and stuff that could use soft goods. |

I mean...can you blame them? Now that I have seen how much money y'all are throwing at anything green wearing a bandana, I have half a mind to launch my own $500 per turtle series with articulated eyeballs for an extra +2 points of artic. I know you'll be in for the full series just as long as I make it seem like I might one day do [random character X that you just can't live without from obscure comic book issue].
Actually why am I going to that much work. Y'all are throwing $500 at ugly 0-points bootlegs molded in solid color resin on eBay, too. |

It’s cool, but is it even worth it these days with so many options? Really, really love the looks of them though!

Each collector will have to decide the value proposition of course... but to me, these are very unique and I think there will be a huge demand for them once they are no longer available. I am definitely getting them.

Such an amazing looking set.
I wasn't expecting individual bodies for them...I figured they would all be the same. |

Pretty neat, though I'm not getting them. The proportions kind of remind me of the 2012 line, which I really dig. The sculpts look kind of lumpy though, like they're foam rubber suits or something. Also strange that Raph looks to be the smallest turtle.
Still, a cool set, and decently priced for everything you get I guess. I think they would have made a killing with this if it had released a couple years ago. In 2023... probably not as much. |

The mezco turtles are very cool, but are they essential? Will they be missed if skipped? It will probably depend on if they make an incredible Shredder and/or other characters in an undeniably cool fashion to expand the grouping.

This is the line I had been waiting for and I'm all in. NECA, Super7 and even axn, third parties have done an amazing job but these just a nice mix and not related to one universe.
Glad to see Casey, he looks amazing. I'd probably get everyone they release. I'm guessing a Shredder is inevitable if they make another figure. Who knows, if they'd do Splinter or an April. Last edited by sdp; 07-23-2023 at 03:24 PM. |

Casey is looking amazing, but then again, I don't think I can support a line that costs as much as Mafex (or roughly $100+ a figure), while supporting NECA and S7. I almost probably shouldn't have picked up Fury Toys Leo as my OCDish will make me want to complete the set.
