Wow, definitely some gorgeous photography/scenery there. TMNT has long made me want to visit, but the fact it's also my ideal terrain boosts that desire. Sounds like you're in for a great time, enjoy it! If you take any shots that show sights as nice as those I'll be sure to check 'em out.

Sees space on fun website to type stuff.
Assumes it is search box. Types "Ninja Turtles". Box changes to message stating "Thanks for signing up!" Their newsletter system is probably now confused. |

As promised, here is the pic of my new "home security system"! The rest of them will follow when possible. But these were a nice start.

My, you're right about Raphael's being inaccurate.
Still looks like it would hurt a lot to get pegged with one of those.

I watched two classic episodes of Wheel of Fortune today and one of them was one I got to see be recorded live way back in 1994. It brought back so many great memories.

Cleveland Cavaliers just won the NBA Championship, ending a 52 year drought of any professional win in an athletic championship in the city.

I had a nap that was very nice. It was much longer than I intended, but I still feel pretty good.
Naps are awesome.

Yeah they are about 16 inches I think. Pretty long, and fairly heavy. I didn't think to do a size comparison pic but about forearm from elbow to fingertip. And I tried holding them like Raph sometimes does with the fingers between the tines-it is very awkward and feels "wrong". Don't see how anyone would want to do that. Especially when fighting against someone with swords! These are meant to disarm!

The general rule of thumb, is that if you're holding the Sai reverse grip the tip of the shaft should reach to or extend a inch beyond your elbow.

Cool, good info, did not know that, thanks.
Today, stopped by Target and happened upon this cool turtle shell wall decor piece in the clearance section. Roughly 15" long. Not quite sure what it's made of, but it's heavy. (Edit: Ah, found it on the website, it's cast aluminum. ) Originally about $30, got it for $8.98. Don't know what I'll do with it yet, but that was not staying at Target. (Also found a TMNT 2012 storage tote on the next shelf up.) Unsure if I'll leave it silver... probably. But tempted to try a repaint. I do have leather I could also play with, too. |

Ah that is so cool! I'd try a repaint. I'm thinking acrylic. I need to take pics of my sea turtle shell fossils I picked up over the weekend. One of them had teeth marks from a megalodon.

Okay, that is really cool!
I have a few small teeth, and a large one I'd given my dad two Christmases ago (which I guess is mine again...?); think I'd be displaying them together if I had a shell fossil like that. DMV was slow as heck (unlike many states we have to there instead of a certified mechanic and drive through a couple check points for inspection), but car managed to pass inspection this time. Really wasn't sure, since work on it this weekend may have wiped out the info in the computer system and I hadn't had time to go putting a bunch of miles on it due to work, but it passed this time. Thank goodness. Last edited by IndigoErth; 06-22-2016 at 05:29 PM. |

The fact that it is Friday and I am super caffinated right now. Mocha frappe with three shots of espresso added. Beware the hyper duckie.....

The fact that I'm going to my first Orioles game of the year today and it's also the start of Shark Week.

You're right, it does
The Kashi granola bars I bought today came with a little free packet of kale seeds on the back. Not quite sure what I'd do with kale (one of that brand's frozen meals is the only place I've ever eaten it and I don't do much real cooking), but that's cute. Doesn't hurt that I also had a coupon. |

It's good you're looking forward to it. Moving can be difficult.
