I'll keep on the lookout for you, Net. TRU famously overstocks on their exclusives, so hopefully Lucario is one such case.

I got charged for all (minus Sonic and Mega Man) my wave 3's this morning and they've all moved to "shipping" so I'm super excited. If Amazon actually ships them today I'll probably end up getting them tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

He's not out yet. They broke Wave 3 in half, the same as wave 3. He's been delayed across North America until sometime mid-February.

For the US it seems like it's Bowser, Toon Link, Shiek, King Dedede, Ike, Lucario and Rosalina. The second part seems like it's Sonic, Mega Man, Metaknight and Shulk for the US. Canada is getting Shulk earlier, but now Lucario isn't coming until next week here. So weird.

It's as reliable as possible. The issue being that Amiibo have had a ton of problems with dates since the first batch of Wave 1 hit and they've become unpredictable. Waves get announced, broken up, sold early, sold late, short stocked, etc etc. The dates there are a good thing to go on, but don't rely on them too much.

Good luck, man. Heard they're going to be a crazy short supply. I've read estimates of 3-5 per store.

Anyways, Nintendo finally spoke up and announced Rosalina would be coming to multiple retailers in Canada. Unfortunately, I stepped away from the AmiiboCanada Reddit for a few hours tonight and it went up on Amazon, which of course immediately sold out. Amazon was my preferred place to get it, but I talked to some TRU guys tonight who told me they'd keep an eye out for me, so I hope it works out SOMEWHERE. My groomsmen are keeping an eye out for me too. At leas I hope they are!

Okay, so I should be hitting up Walmart and/or Gamestop tomorrow to ask about Ike, since other than Lucario, he's the only one I'm really interested in until Sonic and Megaman arrive. The Metaknight situation sounds more and more depressing since I really wanted him.

Are you missing any, Peanut? I might be able to look out. I don't live near a Target so Rosalina is a no-go here.

Rosalina and Lucario are the only ones I don't have preordered, but I've got some ins at TRU and I've got a lot of chances at Rosalina coming up. Thanks though.

I hope you can find an Ike. Up here EBgames made it pretty clear they only had enough for preorders and that was it. Same story for Metaknight and Shulk. Enough for preorders and stores won't be getting any spares at all. At least Ike isn't exclsive, so you'll have multiple chances to find him.

Yeah, the dude at Walmart knew exactly where I was headed when I told him "I have a question about one of your products" and he just told me before we even reached them "All the Amiibos you see there are what we have"

As per usual they have ****ing nothing

EDIT: Just called Gamestop, they tell me they'll have stuff on the 13th. So I'm going to try to grab Ike if they have him. Don't give a rat's ass about Shulk though I suppose if I have extra money and they have one I'll grab him for trading purposes.

Surprisngly the thing that gets me the most isn't the frightening use of grammar, but the weird lowercase T.

Anyways, after a pretty eventful afternoon of missed packages and ultra late mail delivery I finally got my Wave 3a's in!

The quality is in a whole different league, even in comparison to Wave 2, which was itself far better than Wave 1. Dedede looks absolutely perfect in every way. I think Ike is the only one I'm slightly disappointed in, because his face looks sort of weirdly shaped, but he's still far superior to Marth.

I've gotten to this point where I'm finding it really hard to open most of them. The only one of the new wave I felt comfortable opening was Bowser. I think my plan going forward is to get doubles of my favourites so I can keep one sealed. I did this with Little Mac and Captain Falcon without meaning to, but I really liked seeing them in the full box on top of my GBA unit. Which means I'd ideally like to get another Pit, because he looks incredible, but I don't know what my chances are there.
