Jeepers, if I kept everything I bought in the package I'd have to find a second house. I have zero room NOW.

I actually get a little angry when new cool stuff comes out, because I seriously can't justify it. If I can afford it, I still have no room. Like NO room. But I neeeeed iiiiiiiiit.

The Super7 He-Man figures treat me fine, so far, but I didn't go to med school and thus, missed all the awesome stuff from MattyCollector, etc., and I'm definitely never gonna be able to afford any of them for what they sell for NOW, so... I'll take what I can get, at this point. Figures in the original style but with the Filmation aesthetic is something I was honestly sad I didn't get back in the day, so they're actually a dream come true, for me. Even if He-Man's shield doesn't fit on his arm, like, at all.

I definitely want the MattyCollector and Club Grayskull stuff more than I can put into words, but... again, I don't have a giant Scrooge McDuck vault of gold coins out back, so I guess I gotta let that dream die.

The price point is totally fine. All neca figures are 20-30 MSRP anyways, and to get our hands on these in a retail setting is awesome.

This. Not to mention, there's truly no such thing as perfect packaging, and I prefer to spend my time enjoying toys, not slave-laboring over trying to keep boxes in pristine condition (a futile task).

If something is insanely valuable in-package, then it will still be valuable OUT of package (if complete and in good shape)....so I focus on keeping my items nice but I throw out all that packaging garbage. Except for basic TMNT bio cardbacks...gotta keep those. :p

I feel this so much. Dont get me wrong, I do what I can to keep what figures and collectibles in boxes that I can but at the end of the day my main concern is that I just have the collectibles that I want, whether the box is in good shape or not. Plus, its just easier to get the older figures out of box in good condition.

And for now, I have very limited space since my fiance moved in last year so I cant be too picky about what I get until we get a bigger place. So, if its in box, cool. If it isnt then so be it.

I'm a huge, HUGE fan of the resealable clamshell packaging that some figures (like Figures Toy Co.'s "Legends of Wrestling" figures, for example) have been using. Adds a few dollars to the price, but I love the option of taking the figure out of the package OR keeping it in for display purposes, whenever I want, so long as I remember to keep the box.

Doesn't cut down on clutter too much but at least I have options.

People who collect toys and keep them MISB should have their collections taken away and banned from further collecting.

As far as I'm concerned, they're worse than scalpers and bootleggers combined.

These are the darker (not pixelated) variants right? Is it possible to order internationally from Target?

It would appear so. I don't think it is possible to order these from Target. I don't think the NECA stuff is on the website.

I hope mine gets a Donatello. Mine needs a new Bo Staff. Plus I wouldn't mind having more than 2 foot soldiers.

Wonder if they'll consider a Gamestop version with the Arcade turtles.

You can see in the image that it's the cartoon colored figures and not the Video Game Appearance figures, the Foot Soldier have the more cartoon accurate sculpts.

I was wondering about international too.

Anyone know if Target toys/exclusives make it onto other online stores, like BBTS and such?

Anyone think we'll see more about this at ToyFair next weekend?

They do sometimes (on BBTS I have seen for sure)...often at a 2x markup (or more)...

by that logic i should go upstairs and open all my soft head figures, and my 92 Target exclusive 4 pack, or my Movie Star figures? i completely disagree with this statement. nothing wrong with keeping figures MIB/MIP. my collection is massive and most of it is unopened but i enjoy how it displays all the same. i may miss out on some action poses but if i like the package display what is it hurting? i dont keep things sealed for profit as i never intend to sell my stuff. i really do enjoy looking at the package and the work that went into it

Initially I was intrigued by these, but I think I have these Turtles in the best presentation set ever: that classic style collectors case.
Have I opened it ? Yes.
Is the set on display in the case ? Yes
I like to display figures both loose and, in their packs. Let’s be honest, I’m not likely to start playing with these figures with my mates, well...
Anyways, my displays are mixtures if in pack, out of pack etc
Example:

Here’s a shelf that is essentially all loose.

This is an in progress redesigned display.
All figures are sealed, but vehicles are all unboxed and built (including stickers).

And this sort of demonstrates that there are different packing types, making for interesting display options.

Thing is, some figures or product looks cool in packaging, and others look cool out if pack. Me, I like yo use both methods.

Tesco in the UK seem to do a lot of Target exclusives - somehow I don't think these will be among them.

hoping that the sets are possibly 1 turtle & 1 foot I bought one of these Shredder's 6 months ago to go with my SH Figure arts turtles. I wouldn't want a double of Shredder but I would army build some Foot soldiers.

worst case scenario my brother gets the double Shredder

I wish they’d package these like the current Game Stop 1990s movie Turtles. Just keep it one figure per box. I’ve never been a fan of 2 packs. If it’s the only way these are released, I guess we can’t complain.
