Haven't posted here for a while so thought I'd upload something I recently acquired, eagle-eyed Farley fans will be familiar with this piece due to Courtland's colored version:

Something new for the thread! Just received these 2 Leo headsketches, I'm over the moon that Peter did them with my choice of pen for my "blue colored bandana" theme. The first was done on the sketch page at the back of TMNT vol 4 #31, and the other was done on the front cover of SHOTFC #1:

Yeah, that's right! I was tempted to buy the Laird headsketch from your eBay auction, but then these ones came through! Good luck selling off the rest of your collection

Thanks, man! The cool thing was that I sent Peter a specific blue marker, and he returned it in the package (I didn't ask him to do that), so it seemed fitting that I asked Kevin to draw a Leo for me with the same pen. Due to the placing of each sketch, it's literally "Eastman and Laird Leo"

Thanks dude, it's just a normal blue highlighter, nothing special!

Thought everyone would like to see a new acquisition, this is an unfinished pin-up by Trent Kaniuga of CreeD/TMNT fame.

staticflickr.com/65535/48485139627_d5b5f5b959_z.jpg/IMG

Signed "Trent 11," it was penciled on 11x17 bristol. Image Comics logos are printed on the reverse, along with this small pencil sketch:

staticflickr.com/65535/48485139627_d5b5f5b961_z.jpg/IMG

I'm guessing that the bristol was left over from when Trent's "CreeD: Utopiate" series was published by Image a few years back. Anyway, I really dig the rawness of the pencils and, honestly, I'm glad it wasn't inked or colored, I like it fine as is!

Thanks dude! Honestly, I don't put my sketch covers on display much anymore, but I know a lot of people with front-and-back sketches who will get them framed the same way they would a typical 11x17 piece. I got a personal OA grail a few months ago (non-TMNT, so I won't show it off here in this thread), which means I'm busy researching 11x17 framing options at the moment!

Also, here's one more for the thread! This is easily one of the nicest pieces of TMNT art that Sophie has ever done in my humble opinion, the coloring and shading up-close is incredible, very delicate.

staticflickr.com/65535/48485139627_d5b5f5b965_z.jpg/IMG

I mentioned a couple of years ago to Kevin at a con that I owned this piece and he asked me to bring it the next day to show him in person. He really got a kick out of it, he even asked ME if he could sign it, I was like Also, kind of random, but I saw a fan-edit of this art on Pinterest a while back, looks like it was cropped/filtered/photoshopped onto a #22RIB blank. I know it's not a professional job but I thought it was neat all the same.

Always enjoy your comments about my OA collection, thank you! Haven't updated for like half a year, I've been busy buying a lot of non-TMNT art and didn't think it was worth updating this thread with that kinda stuff.

For this thread, here's a piece of art by Sophie (purchased from the same Drome seller), her classic rooftop piece:

staticflickr.com/65535/48485139627_d5b5f5b965_z.jpg/IMG

Also, here is a Peter Laird Leo commission dated 1986 that I got from a fellow Dromer:

staticflickr.com/65535/48485139627_d5b5f5b966_z.jpg/IMG

Will try to keep on top of my TMNT OA collecting throughout 2019, hope everyone enjoys!
