April & Casey in the future
How do you guys feel about April & Casey?
I like the 2003 April & Casey better than the 2012 version. But I hope if the next TMNT, they'll do something way better than the Nick version. |

I like most fine, it would be easier to just say that that I don't much care for 2014/16 movie version of both, and 2007 Casey. Both Casey versions are kind of their own digression of the character similar to how Mikey has changed as well...
The 2012 pair are okay, it's been fun to see a kid version of them, but I'd like to have them back as adults. (Not to mention more adult-seeming Turtles as well.) |

Voted for 2003 April and Casey. They look cooler.

Do you mean as a couple or as separate individual characters?

Do you mean as a couple? They aren't in the original series.

Anyway, if choosing from the list, based on the mediums I've been exposed to, it's tough. I love FW Casey for how insane he was...but I love 1990 Elias' portrayal of him too. Felt perfect to me. As for April...maybe 1990 movie April. |

The 1990 movie one was the most playful and real to me so I go with that one.

I love, mirage, 2003, and IDW. I love the mask in the paramount movie, especially since it fits me well and allows me to cosplay with short hair.

I voted for the 1990 movie, though the 2003 versions were close behind.
That said, I do like April from the 2012 series (Mae Whitman may have something to do with that), and Casey has grown on me as well Have not read enough Mirage or IDW. Don't really remember the 1987 cartoon Casey that well. Haven't seen the 2016 movie, so can't really judge that Casey. Megan Fox (2014 movie) was definitely not my favorite April. She's beautiful, yes, but not a very good actress.

I definitely think 1990 Movie Casey is my favorite version of that character, hands down. It's his voice and mannerisms I think of when I think of Casey. Likewise, I really enjoy Movie April as well and given they work well off one another, they get my vote.
I enjoy 1987 Casey and April as individuals and I have to admit that it's fun to try and imagine what could push them together as a couple like in other incarnations. 2003 April and Casey can be a lot of fun too. April can sometimes come across as a bit too headstrong though (although not very often) that it borders on annoying but overall, I really enjoy this group too. Mirage April and Casey I'm neutral about. I don't read Mirage that much but they seemed fine last time I went through it. Not a fan of Nick April or Casey either as a couple or individual characters. Casey comes across as idiotic and April has dipped into Mary Sue territory too much for me. That said though, they aren't the worst version ever.., |

2k3 Casey is really idiotic and annoying. His voice is gratingly whiny and obnoxious too.
If I'm a character in the 2k3 series and Casey got kidnapped and stabbed by Shredder like IDW Casey did, I'd probably let him bleed to death. |

That... seems a bit excessive.

Damn son lol, I went IDW just because they seemed the most authentic but I can see arguments for all of them. Elias from the 1990 movie I love to death though and 4kids version of April is pretty solid.

I like April best as a reporter. It is partially because I first knew her as such and the interesting characters that should be associated with because of it. I don't care for her wearing a "kidnap me sign on her back though and I do like the information broker role she played in a couple of incarnations. Being trained as a ninja and being an ally in the battlefield for a not feel natural for her character.
Casey Jones 1990/1993 films is my favorite. He is simply a fun character who I would have liked to have seen more background on. Second place, I do love the G-rated Dirty Harry and the fun dialogue of the 1987 cartoon version.

Mirage April and Casey all the way.
They were well developed characters who had multiple things going for them, each with their own issues and motivations and struggles. Of all versions they're the ones that most feel like actual people. |

Kinda hard for me to choose. I love both Mirage and 2k3 April. For the movies, it depends on whether one prefers Judith Hoag or Paige Turco. For Casey, definitely Mirage. 90s films and 2k3 Casey are fun but there's definitely more to the Mirage version. |
