You're right, but wrong at the same time, which I'm sure you know. LOL. Australia had them, and I was very fortunate to get them 2 years ago while Mighty Ape still had them on their website. Shortly after I bought them, they vanished forever! I got them just in time!

Because the individual "volumes" came first. The first season through about half way through the fourth season were released in small 3-5 episode volume sets. It wasn't until 1/2 way through the fourth season that the semi-season sets started getting released. And they went back and re-released the first two seasons in 1/2 season sets. However, they never ended up re-releasing season three and the first half of season four as semi-season sets.

I will very gladly pick up any S3/4 episodes they put out if I don't already have them. All I have of that run is the "Return of the Ultimate Ninja" DVD and the "Season Four" half-season release.
Based on these releases that's probably a long shot, but the gaps in those seasons are the only ones I care about.

I had pre-ordered the new releases that were supposed to come out today (of the 2k3 series), but for some reason they have been "delayed", and Amazon gave the option to cancel the order! Is this the death knell for the re-release of this show already?! Perhaps nobody was buying these smaller releases, and they failed the "testing" period? :/

I think it's a red flag too, sadly. These were available for pre-order since July, and announced even prior to that I believe, so you'd think any issues they had would have been resolved by now. Maybe the pre-sale didn't make what Nick wanted? :/

Two episodes? I couldn't watch it due to me not living in a relevant country, but I was under the impression they aired the 2003 series in marathons, why would they stop at two episodes into a season?

It's possible they aired the whole thing before and this was their second or third time through. However the last weekend they aired the 03 show on Nick Toons they played two episodes into that season and haven't aired any episodes since. It pissed me off because I've never seen the whole series.

Pretty sure it was only the first episode of that storyline ("Ninja Tribunal") and stopped there because that ep was the Season 4 finale.

And I don't think it's a bad sign at all that they stopped there, because after those two marathons, it seems like there could be a pattern. Possibly. Air two seasons at a time, maybe even three if they continue, since five and seven are shorter.

They took a break after finishing Season 2 as well. They air 52 episodes as a set and then take breaks.
Seasons 5-7 will probably air together later. |
