Moss is done. He will never be like he was in Minny again. But to get him for a 4th rounder is a good deal. Hopefully he wont be a cancer.

We'll see. I'm sure he'll be good enough, and if not at least it will make the other WR's more competetive and better.

Yeah, he'll still be decent...he isn't washed up. He may even be an above average WR. But he has such a giant ego and an attitude. But the Pats brought in disruptive players before and didn't have a real problem, so maybe this is the place for him.

Oh and the Bulls just got the sweep. I was expecting the Bulls to win but not the way they did. I was hoping the Bulls would advance to play the Pistons in the 2nd round tired after battling the Heat in 6 or 7 games. Now both teams will be fresh. Should be a great series. I am a little scared of the Bulls now. The last thing I want is Benedict Wallace knocking us out of the playoffs.

I think Moss will have a great year this year...he has alot to prove and hes still a great talent...but I HATE the pats...nuff said

And man, those Bulls are for real...even though Wade wasn't playing up to his usual standards, I would have never expected a sweep like this...

And Nash is just rediculous- 20 assists already and the 3rd quater's not even over yet...

The real issue with Moss is how he will react to the NE system. The Pats use anywhere from 7 to 9 different receivers a game. Brady spreads the ball out, he does not prefer one guy over the other.
Moss will be the deep threat, no doubt about that. I also think he will be used alot as a decoy, to open up and expose gaps in defensive coverage.
Things will be different for him playing in NE, but I can say without a shadow of a doubt I think he will be highly productive and we will see more of the Randy Moss that was such a big time star in Minnesota.

I think everyone hates the pats now. I mean, if your not a fan of them, then they're better than your favorite team.

Warriors-Mavs tonight. I really think the Warriors will win again, I loved the way they played last game. I'm pretty pumped to see the Mavs go down...even more than Miami, broom shaqalakalaka.

I'm not really understanding the logic behind the whining of this.

So some guy on steroids on the chargers can taunt someone after he sacks them, and thats ok....but when someone else does the same move after winning a game, it's bad?

"Lights out" you got sacked
"Lights out" you just got beat

Same thing, they were just mad because if they won that game they would most likely win the superbowl

Almost every NFL player will do some kind of "move" after a sack.

Not every NFL team will dance around the home teams midfield, mocking them after winning. I wouldve expected better of such an elite, and classy team like NE.

There's a difference but this has been blown out of proportion.

Hot damn the Warriors won again, 3-1 baby. Baron Davis was just amazing, he was just unstoppable. The was one of the best games I've seen in awhile...you just can't keep GS down.

EDIT: Double post...my bad, i'm a dumbass.

Oh I know, I was so pissed. I'm confident in saying they will win game 6 and I think they might even blow the Mavs out like in game 3. GS are just playing out of their minds, Baron Davis especially. They have been hitting big shot after big shot...it's really been fun to watch.

To anyone who watched the draft....as you know Keyshawn (aka. MEshawn) was one of the hosts, how that happened I'll never know, the guy is a moron. He just kept talking about himself and how these rookies compare to him. He is in love with himself. Then Jarret was drafted by his team, the Carolina Panthers. He was talking and talking about how he was going to show him the rope, bla bla bla I'm so good, we're going to be great together.....and then he gets cut! LMAO!!! Haha, I frickin hate you meshawn!

What do you think about the study saying white refs call fouls at a greater rate against black players?

I think it's pretty rediculous because no black player has ever accused a white ref of being racist. African american players and former players are speaking out against this study, it's obvious they don't believe it so why should we?

Sportscenter just played Charles Barkleys comments from the Dan Patrick radio show....now Barkley is a moron but i love to listen to him babble on about stuff, but he said THEE dmbest thing ever today. He said something like, "Of course there are more calls against black players in the nba, the nba has mostly black players." How ignorant can you get? Did he not understand the part about "at a greater rate"? WOW, .

There are definately more fouls called against black players by white refs because the NBA demographic is extremely weighted on the black player side. There are far more black players than white players and more white referees than black referees. So you get more white refs calling fouls on black players based simply on the fact that there are more black players to call fouls on

That's basically what Barkley was saying on the radio. The study concluded white refs call fouls on black players at a greater rate than white officials. So the fact that the nba is mostly african american has nothing to do with anything.

I know exactly what you were getting at I was just being a goofus.

But regardless of what the study says, I don't think it's because the players are black that fouls are being called on them. There must be another explanation.

Yea I think anybody trying to find a flaw in this study isn't going to explain it in a few sentences, which is what charles barkley and the guys on espn are doing (altough barkley was way off). The guys on ESPN were making it seem like the people doing the study were biased and just hitting a bunch of numbers without a real understanding of how basketball works. I think they should give them more credit.

I haven't read it yet, but the top economists and statisticians are agreeing with the study. And besides, I'm not smart enough to find a problem with it if these guys haven't already...it's not easy to get something published and let a simple flaw go through.
