I walked in on parts of the warriors game for like 1-2 minutes a time.....and from what I saw it was an awesome game.
I'm gonna use the most cliche sports saying.....can they make a run in the playoffs? |

If they play the Rockets in the 2nd round, yes.
If they play the Jazz in the 2nd round, probably not. The Rockets do not match up well with the Warriors, Yao would be in some trouble. I think the Jazz match up much better because Boozer and Okur are much more mobile. Either way I'll be rooting for them. |

The Champions' League final will be a repeat of 2005's in Istanbul, with Liverpool playing AC Milan in Athens. Tough fixture to call, but there are a lot of Italians living in Athens...

well the warriors will be playing the jazz in the 2nd round. i hope the warriors can pull off another upset. i think they will ride the wave of success all the way. especially if they keep playing with the heart they displayed against the mavs.

Well, the warriors could not have asked for a better matchup...i think they can take the Jazz no problem if they keep playing how they have been...however, how they'll fair against Spurs/Suns Im not too sure...
Speaking of which, that sux for the Suns with Nash getting hurt like that...they had a great chance of pulling it off... |

The Warriors were so close to pulling it off!!!
The Pistons are just dominating the bulls, 2-0 and both were by 20+ points. These games would be boring as hell if I wasnt a Pistons fan. I would love to see a sweep but I think the Bulls could win game 3. If they don't it'll be over in 4. But I see this series ending in 5. |

So I went to the De la Hoya fight in Vegas this past weekend, and man was it blast! I've been to Vegas before but the atmosphere for fight night was incredible...the fight itself was decent though nothing spectacular...I lost $60 on Hoya but made up for it at the Blackjack tables (pocketed $2100)....overall, fantastic experience...

Mayweather is great and he's a hometown guy.
I almost went to bed in the 3rd quarter because the pistons were playing like trash and I was tired as hell because my new job is whooping my ass...glad I didn't. This is best Pistons team i've ever seen, much better than the '04 teamm. They just have so much experience and Billups is tremendous leader. The last 2 seasons this team wouldve gave up and it woul have an effect on the rest of the games in the series. Not with this team. |

More good games...Utah has really been surprising me...Boozer is a beast... I think it'll be Pistons v Spurs, which I think will be terrible for viewership.... |

That's what I hate about the casual bball fans with loud mouths...they hate defense. Eveyone complained 2 years ago when the Spurs and Pistons played, but it was a good series just like this one would be if it happened. I'm not just saying this because I'm a Pistons fan because sometimes their games were in the 70's and even the 60's it was a little boring...because it wasnt just good defense but sloppy play as well. That's not really the case with the Pistons-Spurs though. Same thing in football. People complain about low scoring defensive games but I happen to love them. |

Yea well some people watch soccer, and they barley ever score there. Some games have no score at all.

Well the Pistons are playing terribly right now. Their offense has no flow at all and it's hard to watch. The Bulls are hitting everything though, 77%.
What do ya'll think about the suspensions?I don't think Horry deserved anything, but he got 2 games. Amare and Boris deserved what they got (1 game each), because rules are rules no matter how unfair it seems. Spurs came outta this good. |

Are you for real? I can understand why you would say the other two deserved suspensions (even though I don't think they deserved them at all), but how can Horry not deserve a suspension if the other two got them for just walking away from the bench area, I mean he did pretty much punch some guys, and the suns guys didnt.
But either way, the whole thing was dumb. |

The other 2 broke a rule that is being enforced very strictly. It's not a subjective rule and it's pretty clear. EDIT: Didnt realize Horry was throwing punches afterwards...so I could see a 1 game suspension. Last edited by Mr. Snackpants; 05-16-2007 at 04:02 PM. |

Yeah, 1 game too long...I don't know how they blew game 5 the way they did...yikes.
The Spurs closed out the Suns yesterday...no surprise there. I don't understand how the general population picks them to win the NBA Title for the past few years. Every year they have a great regular season and dazzle viewers with a high powered offense. But every year they lose before the NBA Finals. That style of play won't win you a championship. Yet they will be favored again next year once they start putting up 110 ppg. |

Yea, I kinda see them like the Colts of the NBA...couple of big name superstars, MVPs, lots of offense, toughest conference, but always managing to fizzle out when its crunchtime (except for this past Super Bowl of course)...and like the Colts, I think they'll get one soon enough...
