Yeah I know..there's one in every crowd.
Seriously though, its exciting that Jets/Pats open against each other right out of the gate. Should make for an exciting first game between divisional rivals.

This weekend, Michigan gets to play one of my alma mater's rivals, the Ducks. I do not know if I should cheer for U of O or Michigan.

The Ducks. Everyone root for the Ducks. How funny would this be... Michigan 0-2. Both losses at HOME. One of them to a 1-AA team and the other to a team that ruined their season 2-3 years ago. HAHA. I wonder how many Michigan faithful would kill themselves?

Check out my fantasy squad yall
Q - Vince Young - nabbed him in the third round! Just hoping he can break the curse RB - Larry Johnson - First rounder, solid back RB - Ronnie Brown - Hopefully Trent Green can compliment him well. I heard talk that Brown may lose the starting job. That would kick me. Here's hoping. WR - Terry Glenn - Studd WR - Mushin Muhammad WR - Joe Horn TE - Tony Gonzo D - Pitt K - Jason Hanson - kicks for detroit... idk I waited until my last pick for him.

That's a pretty solid team you have. I would get another qb though. Youll need it during Tennessee's bye week anyway.

Michigan is in terrible shape....they lost to the Oregon Ducks, one of my alma maters' rivals, big time. Final score is 39-7. This was a home game for Michigan.

You guys have no idea how awesome this is! It's great, every Michigan fan I know is on suicide watch. Two embarassing games. Only way to make this better would to lose to rival Notre Dame next week, AT home! 0-3 to start the season, 0-3 at home. HAHA! And it's going to happen, especially with Henne out. Even though Henne has sucked, he is apparently the best they have in Ann Arbor.

I dunno...as great as that would be, ND has been sticking up the place as well...for me, it's a tossup...
And on a Gator note, man what a terrible game. I was up in Gainesville and in the first half we looked fantastic...I believe we went into the half up 49-7...then it fell to pieces and we started losing turnovers, getting stupid penalites, and overall playing like caca...they ended up scoring 31 on us and I was about ready to vomit...I mean, TROY!! Sheesh, hopefully, we'll be in better shape for when Tenn comes to town... |

FOOTBALL!!
Sorry, just a little excited. Tonight was my schools (UConn) first home game, and it was a lot of fun. The begining of our schedule is a couple of bad teams. Duke was last week and we gave them their 20-something loss in a row. Tonight we played against Maine, and shut them out 38-0. Pretty exciting to watch. Their first pass attempt was intercepted for a TD. But in a few weeks we'll get into the Big East Schedule, where in the last 2 years I think we were in last place. Last year was a 4-8 season, might be the same this year. It is our 3rd year in division 1-A, so theres a chance we can improve in the future and become a football school. Now, tommorrow my NFL team starts it's regular season. I hope the Pats treat the Jets like Maine got treated tonight. |
