My name, Alicia, isn't on there at all. I also find that when it is, it's pronounced more like 'Alisha' where as I pronounce it 'ah-liss-ee-ah'.

Mine is "fairly" popular. I went to school with two other girls with the same nickname (not sure if one of them actually had the same full first name or not- and she spelled the shorter name really weird.) as me- in fact, one of them was in my English/History class all through high school, AND shared the same first AND middle name as me! Got confusing at times, so our teacher called us by our last names, lol! (And no it wasn't Duck(ie) then. I married into that one.) I can say I share my name with a past Queen of England, a lake, a waterfall, and an Australian province(state?).... it's also a Roman goddess!

I guess it depends, since in many countries there are several males bearing my first or my second given names. In my own, though? I only know a couple of other guys bearing it, but I suppose it's not exactly uncommon, with my second one being more common, in my experience.

Stephanie has dropped to #41 these days. I can't believe my sister (Jennifer - a name not uncommonly paired with sister's of Stephanies) is still (or back up) at #6!
Although https://www.ssa.gov says it was #40 in year 2000 and 208 two years ago. Ouch. Jennifer from 26 to 252 in the same time frame. (Eesh, you'd think there was a bad storm with that name or something. lol) Okay, which is more accurate... Bonus - my last name, according to the first source, is #51347. |

Well, all I think of when I hear my name is Bart Simpson's arch enemy. I also think of the engineer who drove Charlie the Choo-Choo in Kings Dark Tower series. Oh, I share first names with the guy who played Eddie Valiant in Roger Rabbit and Mario in Mario Brothers. There's that. Bob's alright, I suppose. Couldn't tell you how popular it is. Below average, I guess, unless you're Bob Hoskins.

My first name is the #4 most common male first name
We all have names that are pretty common, what we should look at is the last name, my last name is very rare, some of us have last names that are very unique. |
