Temple of Doom is one of my favorite movies of all time, but I'm not going to ignore that it's depiction of Indian cuisine and it's portrayal of Hinduism wrong and very offensive to people of that culture and/or religion. The latter of which is especially wrong when they could have easily created their own made up religion and goddess instead of taking another's and out right claiming it's evil.
I kind of hope it isn't, because it would make the fantastic adventure game Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis non-canon. But if they did I would absolutely see it anyway. There's so many ancient treasures and mythology out there and I'd rather them pick something that hasn't already been done in other media. |

It just feels too comical, like a cartoon. Gross-out humor of indian food, the female lead woman constantly screaming and being terrified over everything, Shortround (although I liked him, he's kinda problematic), and the way the final set pieces were with the lava and the Indian God or whatever he was.

Indiana Jones really should've become a James Bond type of franchise with a new entry every other year.

This is sort of heir of those ridiculous stories that people told each other back in the ancient times and middle ages, about lands of people with one leg and so on. And before usual suspects come here to be triggered, no, it's not only white people who did that. Pretty much any nation of the old had some crazy stories about foreign lands. Also, the way nazis and Russians were treated in Indy is pretty much par for the course for the pulp novels. TL'DR Don't take it too seriously. Also, it seems 'Cubed has learnt a new popular buzzword "problematic". Yuck. "internet-warriors" don't know what kind of ally they will receive, lol. |

Well fair enough, I don't really care. I'm not that invested in Indiana Jones.
I think the first and third are the best, hopefully this new one is good too. |

Willie Scott is my favorite character in Lego Indiana Jones game, her scream is basically a weapon. |

Harrison Ford is 75, in 2019 he'll be 76.
Can't wait to see a 76 year old Harrison Ford stand around a whole movie. Every action scene of his will be replaced with a stunt double. |

Harrison Ford didn't do much more in Episode 7 or Blade Runner than stand around. He really had no action scenes in either movie. Just standing pointing a gun or sitting down. I thought that was especially noticeable.
Problem with Indiana Jones is you expect him to be running around, jumping, going through set pieces, and I just don't think he can handle it at his age. |

Indiana Jones 5 will be Harrison Ford's last time in the role. and Steven Spielberg says it’s time for a woman to play Indiana Jones.

Yeah, there's only really one problem with the Tomb Raider movies: none of them are any good.

You know people forget that Indiana Jones was inspired by Alan Quartermaine.

Spielberg has expressly said Indiana Jones 5 will in NO WAY have any passing-of-the-torch. To anybody.
