Spookycookies' Collection

Hey everybody, I've wanted to do a collection post for some time now and I have finally decided to do it as I'm just 1 issue away from having 150 unique IDW TMNT variants. I thought I would share which issues are important to me, where I got them, my best deals and anything else that is interesting in my collection.

I have a lot of pride in my IDW singles collection, I've been collecting since issue #11 and am really into picking out variants that I like. So without further ado let me get into posting my comics, toys, and other TMNT stuff:

On my desk I have a set of Kid Robot Turtles. I wanted them for a while but I was lucky enough to get a full set when I went to TooManyGames this year. The dealer told me it was the last set that he had of all four.

This is something I'm very excited about. I had been checking in on Hyperstone Heist auctions for a couple of months now and the trends that usually followed were that it typically went for $50 loose and often the label would be really damaged. Then Gamestop announced that they were going to be selling retro or "vintage" video games online. I was able to get HH from Gamestop for $44. I expected the label would be all messed up since that's what the picture on their website looked like but to my great surprise the game shipped complete in box!! Not only does this make it look incredible but I feel like I got such a great deal on it! I even bookmarked a repro label to order in case the one I got looked bad but this is perfect.

This is the top of my bookshelf where I keep the bulk of my 2012 Playmates figures. I have every unique character and the basic turtles. I decided early on that I would buy every new character that came out but I wouldn't get turtle variants since that would save me about $40 a year. If you don't see a figure up there that means its in a bin near the bookshelf. More on that later...

Below my figures is the set of magazine organizers that I use to store my IDW single issues. I'm really running out of room here. I sort them out by reading order. Let's look at the first box...

These are my #1 issues. Jetpack, D, and Halloween. I picked up Halloween I think for free at my LCS, and Jetpack I grabbed from a Black Friday deal they had. Probably the best deal out of all of them was for the Mikey cover which I was able to grab on eBay for $6 at auction. I have no idea how it happened.

This is just the first couple of issues. I found #3A at Wizard World Philly and #4A, #5RI, & #6B at Cincinnati Comic Con. #6A was a special buy from Comic Collector Live. I love the POV shot from the mouser.

This is the first issues of IDW's TMNT I ever purchased.

More in a bit! Tell me what you think, I have a lot of stuff to go through and I hope you'll enjoy seeing all the TMNT I've amassed.

Thanks! I want to get the rest of the Kid robot line, I'm just not a fan of blind boxes.

So this is today's mail: #24A i just never got a hold of when it first came out but now I finally have all of the A covers for City Fall! #35RI as you may know was mistakenly swapped with the SDCCC cover and even though I pre ordered one cover I ended up with the Kevin Eastman RE cover. But finally, finally it's mine.
